My husband and son stayed at Abbeydene on our first night in Ireland. We had a long day with a drive from Dublin to the Antrim coast, and to Abbeydene. Tim and Ethy made us feel like long lost friends and opened their hearts and home to weary travelers. We had an amazing nights rest and a much needed shower.... More

Our stay with Tim and Ethy was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The house is both private and intimate. We enjoyed the bright breakfast room and Tim's fine cooking. The rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable, and the ocean view is peaceful. The hosts make you feel welcome and at home. Tim's sister, Sam, was... More

It looks like it should cost more and the price is a steal for what you get. Tim is a most welcoming, friendly and accommodating host. The house itself is beautiful, charming, unique and eclectic. The owners have put so much effort into every detail. it's warm, peaceful, homely and finished to a wonderful high standard. I felt so comfortable,... More

My wife and I stayed at Abbeydene House for 3 nights last week, having selected it because of the excellent reviews. Our experience was just the same as we read in the reviews. It is a quality, well run establishment, set in a very nice quiet location, where no corners are cut, where the owners have thought of everything and... More
