Wish we could have stayed longer! Fabulous house and hosts. Delicious breakfast and very comfy bed. Most of all, Tim and Ethy's collections are amazing. Lots of nearby restaurants and a walk along the sea will give you a great appetite.

My boyfriend and I stayed in December and were delighted by the service we received. Tim and Ethy are both so lovely and accommodating. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast served to us was amazing. We had such a great stay and will definitely return! We highly recommend staying at Abbeydene!

Abbeydene wins for the best landlady and landlord we've ever stayed with in a B&B as well as the best accommodation in a Manor House. Ethy is the most wonderful and charming hostess and Tim has the best collection of R&B records and memorabilia I've ever seen. The location and views from Abbeydene are great. This is a 'must' on... Spent 6 wonderful nights here recently and would highly recommend Abbeydene House. Tim and Ethy are great hosts and the house is an eclectic masterpiece. Tim cooks up breakfast to order - recommend trying the "Sloppy Tomatoes", you won't be disappointed. Good location, close to Belfast, and yet only a five minute walk to Hazelbank Park where one can take... More

We stayed at Abbeydene for 2 nights as we were visiting Belfast (about a 10 minute drive). You can leave your car and catch the train in if you don't know the city (that's what we did - about 20 mins and you're right in the city). It's an amazing old Victorian mansion which has been refurbished in keeping with... More

Abbeydene is a gorgeous and interesting house, the hosts Tim and Ethy are absolutely lovely, breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it. Only 15 minutes into Belfast. Good starting point for driving the Causeway Coastal Route. Hope to have the opportunity to stay there again for longer next time.

I stayed here while attending a 3-day course at the University of Ulster. It was a really handy location, only a short drive from the University. Tim and Ethy were wonderful hosts and I enjoyed the personal quirky touches that they had added to the place. Cannot recommend it enough.

I stayed with my wife Mary and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality offered by Tim & Ethy over the New Year period. Their caring and thoughtfulness throughout our stay was unbelievable. Their 'Abbeydene' home is fantastic and certainly quirky in a great way. Tim and Ethy's relaxed and flexible manner made our stay exactly what we wanted during our time in... More

This was a very special B&B. The owner loves music and the house is full of stuff concerning music, film and art. They also are very nice and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, we could choose between ulster fry, scrumbled eggs or cereals, porridge. The room was well heated and clean. The bathroom was big and clean too. The house... More
