Tim and Ethy have created their own, very personal B&B, full of warmth, comfortable accommodation and an excellent breakfast. You are invited to make Abbeydene your home throughout your stay and they mean every word of it. Experience it for yourself and also share your music stories with them. Nothing like it.

My third stay in this fabulous B&B which is always welcoming, warm and cosy after a long day. Comfortable, peaceful accommodation with everything you could possibly want. Great Irish breakfast cooked to order by Tim and wonderful views over Belfast Lough from the breakfast room. Although not in Belfast city it has a bus stop and train station nearby and... More

I would just reiterate all the good things about this wonderful house, and the fantastic welcome and personal service. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our comfortable room, the fabulous furnishings, interesting memorabilia and vintage curios everywhere. Have since recommended this to our friends both in Ireland and also in UK. We will certainly stay here again the next... More

Our hosts were very welcoming. It's actually like walking back in time "stuff" everywhere. Breakfast was amazing. Had a great stay. Bedroom was really comfortable. Will definitely be staying again. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our host and hostess were warm and friendly. We were only staying one night but Tim agreed to handle one load of laundry for us, in time for us to leave the following morning. The house is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are first class. Breakfast was delicious. During our stay in Ireland and Northern Ireland, we visited 11... More

Abbeydene House is a true manor house with luxurious rooms and bathrooms. We had a lovely view over Belfast Lough from our room. Tim and Ethy are delightful hosts who are very enthusiastic about their house and area. I had some lovely walks along the side of the lough. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and very tasty. This is a... More

What wonderful accommodation! The owners Tim and Ethy were so welcoming and friendly. Tim explained the history of the house to us. Spotless rooms. Really quirky too. We loved our stay. Everything you would need is there. Breakfast was beautifully presented and flavoursome. Gluten free was catered for. This is 4* + accommodation in an excellent location overlooking Belfast Lough.

Wonderful stay at a wonderful house. Tim and Ethy really made me feel at home, can't rate it highly enough. The room was very comfortable at hotel 4 star standard. Free wifi and tv, tea and coffee making facilities were generous. The breakfast menu catered for all tastes and was cooked beautifully to order. I cannot recommend Abbeydene enough.
