It looks like it should cost more and the price is a steal for what you get. Tim is a most welcoming, friendly and accommodating host. The house itself is beautiful, charming, unique and eclectic. The owners have put so much effort into every detail. it's warm, peaceful, homely and finished to a wonderful high standard. I felt so comfortable,... More

My wife and I stayed at Abbeydene House for 3 nights last week, having selected it because of the excellent reviews. Our experience was just the same as we read in the reviews. It is a quality, well run establishment, set in a very nice quiet location, where no corners are cut, where the owners have thought of everything and... More

Last week i stayed at the Abbeydene House for one night. On arrival i received a warm welcome by the owners. The house is built in the 19th century and just looks great. The room was clean and very spacious. The decor was very romantic and had all the modern conviences you need. The doublebed was good as was the... More

We have just arrived back in Australia from holidays and just wanted to acknowledge the fantastic stay we had with Ethy and Tim. Such a friendly couple, they helped us with a lot of local knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. We will never forget our stay, your home was just something to behold, the accommodation, food and surroundings... More

Hosts Tim & Lithy have gone out of their way to provide absolutely everything, from beautifully apportioned rooms, an enormous DVD collection, amenities plus plus, a great breakfast and if you've forgotten something it probably can be found here! Off street parking in a quiet area about 5 miles north... More

Very friendly hosts. A charming old house on a quiet road. Very modern. The breakfast was very tasty and served hot. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. We would return in the future. Close to the airport and bElfast

Tim and Ethy run a brilliant guesthouse here for a fraction of the price of some of the nearby hotels and with a service and friendliness that's second to none. They made me feel so welcome and were so accomodating. With and interest in music there is a lot of memorabilia around that's very interesting and with about 3 bookcases... More

We arrived in Belfast and were looking for accommodation for 3 nights and luckily the tourist bureau suggested Abbeydene House. Tim and Ethy did all that they could to make us comfortable and said we were to consider it our "home" for the next 3 days. Well, I don't live in such luxury with my every need catered for.
