We stayed for two nights at Montalto House. Up to this point in our trip, this is by far the largest room we have had. The B&B is about 1 mile into Bushmills and we walked it quite easily. Hillary was very welcoming and helpful with the few restaurants around town and nearby attractions. The bed was good sized and... More

We stayed in Montalto House for 3 nights in the beginning of August - and could not have been happier with our choice of accommodation in Bushmills. A bit of a walk from the village, but not too far - and because of that, a very peaceful and quiet location. We slept well and ate (breakfast) even better. The room... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the lovely Montalto House. Hillary was a perfect host. She truly made us feel very welcome to this historic house that has been operated by her family for many years as a B&B. And she provided several much appreciated personal touches. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, and had a lovely... More

I stayed here with two friends visiting from England. The B&B is lovely and clean and a great welcome from Hilary. Very close to all attractions and some great places to eat nearby as recommended by Hilary who has a great local knowledge and is very helpful. Lovely well cooked breakfast, very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of food. Would highly... More

We stayed here in july and we had a warm welcome by Hillary. The room and the house was clean and homely. She pointed us to some attractions and restaurants nearby. It was a quiet location and near to the village of Bushmills. Close to the Giant`s causeway, Dunluce castle and the distillery. We had a wonderfull stay and we... More

We stayed here in late June. We arrived to a warm welcome by Hillary our host. She clued us in to the local restaurants and attractions. She even gave us a ride to the local tavern so we could listen to some Irish music. The accommodations were neat and clean and very homey. We felt very comfortable there. I left... More

Stayed here in June and had a brilliant time. Set in a very peaceful location it was perfect for us. We were attending a concert in Dunluce a few miles away and our host offered to give us a lift which was so kind. Breakfasts were brilliant. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommended

Great location, impeccable reception by owner, clean, spacious and quiet room, good wi-fi. Breakfast was definitely better than average with home-made bread, jams and all quality ingredients. Only if looking for something to criticize, the biscuits in the room with complimentary coffee/tea were stale, and there is a musty smell in the entrance, probably due to climate and wood interiors,... We have just returned from a touring holiday in N.Ireland. Stayed at Monalto House overnight on 2nd June 2014 and found it to be exceptional. Hillary was so very Friendly and welcoming and could not be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you so much Ann and Rex for your kind review. I enjoyed having you to stay in my home and especially the "craic" with you and your friends. Jolly guests makes my job a lot easier! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your tour around Ireland. More
