We stayed in the loft above the reception and we couldn't have been happier. Ok, the stairs were a bit of a pain but the apartment is quiet, comfortable and well equipped. We opened the roof windows and fell asleep to the sound of cows munching grass. No traffic. No drunks in the streets. The kitchen and laundry to ourselves... More

We came over to the cottages for the Giro D'Italia weekend in May. As well as watching the race come through Bushmills, we did a bit of cycling ourselves. It's a great location, and the cottages were perfect for what we needed - they're comfortable, clean, well equipped and very reasonably priced. Alan, who looks after the cottages, was very... More

Arrived at the cottages in the evening. Super views over the coastline. Accommodation was great and settled in easily for the Easter weekend. Alan and staff helpful about where to eat and best times to visit tourist attractions. Very reasonably priced .

Our annual stay at Ballylinny Cottages was as brilliant as always. Cottages and bungalow are spotless. We have been going to Ballylinny for the last six years and will keep going. Nothing is a problem for Alan and his staff. A great place to stay. Would highly recommend staying here.

Peace and quiet...stunning views...friendly people. If this is what you want from a break, look no further than Ballylinney Cottages. From the first contact with owner Alan on e-mail, we felt welcome. Any question was answered promptly and helpfully. When we arrived, he showed us around the "Wee Stooken" cottage, pointing out all relevant details on heating, ameneties, advice on sights,... More

Myself and a group of friends stayed at the Ballylinny Cottages from the 6th to the 9th of March 2014 as we were undertaking the causeyway costal section of the Ulster way. Firstly, I was really really impressed. I, and one of my friends accompanying us, are originally from Northern Ireland but the rest of our party where from the... More

Have just returned from a visit to Ballylinny Cottages. Had stayed previously at these cottages but had decided to give it a break as it hadn't been up to standard so hoped this time things would have improved. When we arrived there was no-one to greet us. We eventually got through to the owner on his mobile who advised us... More

Hi spent a week here the weather wasn't kind to us but the bungalow was very spacious and we had a lovely view from the small sitting room, managed to get a coal fire going which was lovely. Four bedrooms all quite spacious two bathrooms and a large kitchen. Only thing I would comment on is that the fixtures are... More

Stayed here for a 5 day break in September. Was expecting a cottage but ended up in a loft barn appartment. Loads of room and very well equipped to eat in,but it really needed a good clean! Skirtings were filthy and all the windows had cobwebs across the curtains , towels looked grubby and it all looked very tired. We... More

The cottage was great just what we wanted close enough to all the sights but a nice distance out in the country for some get away from it all time. I dont think there was anything in the cottage that had been over looked Alan seems to have thought off everything. We would certainly stay again next time we are... More
