This hostel was terrible. Our room was shabby with a cheap uncomfortable bunk. The place had no atmosphere and the staff were very unwelcoming. All this would be okay except the so called cooked breakfast was a disgrace. We choose a vegetarian cooked breakfast which would honesty have fitted into a saucer. I think we had about 10 baked beans... More

The page on hostelworld says that you would be able to cancel your booking 1 day before arrival, we phoned and mailed to cancel 2 days before our stay, the staff on the phone had been really unfriendly and we got charged, because they said that it's too late to cancel.

Hello Miss Claire White, first: sorry to read your review about a place where you DID not stay. I find that strange. And second, a 100% made up story from your side. We have a the phone records. And you called us late in the morning/ early afternoon on the day that you should have arrived. Which is not even... More

I really enjoyed staying here. The room, bathroom, and common areas were clean. The staff were very friendly, and it was nice to sit around the kitchen table in the evening and chatting. The breakfast was hot and plenty for a first meal. The Causeway visitor center is just a hop, skip, and a jump away! I want to come... More

The rooms are small and clean. They are also quiet given that you are over a pub. The owners are helpful. The pub patrons are also very friendly. There is ample parking. It is centrally located and you can walk to any place in town. The breakfast is tasty and ample. It is priced right.

We stayed here for 7 nights and we wanted to get out of busy city life and just enjoying the Giant's Causeway and the coastal scenery. The location is wonderful, within 3 minutes you are at the cliffs and 10 minutes later at the Giant's Causeway or the beach nearby. We enjoyed walking the whole coastline. The breakfast in the... We had no reservation, just went to see the Causeway one weekend with the family (5 of us), and we were so happy to find this! Without the need to drive far, and we had a lovely cosy room, just right for us. Clean beds, cosy book corner, and even a guitar (with 5 strings, which is a lot for... More

Nice scenery, bit remote (1hr walk from bushmills, or busstop Giants Causeway). Beautiful walking trail along the coast (advanced) from the causeway up to the 'blabla' (Carrick-a-rede) rope bridge. The rope bridge and the causeway itself are very touristic. The hostel is relatively small and has limited bathroom facilities, but it worked out fine. A nice touch: there were some... More

Stayed here one night recently. We arrived footsore after walking part of the Causeway Coastal trail. Hostel comfortable and welcoming, lovely (small) lounge and sunny conservatory, with great views over the countryside and the sunset. Room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the hot breakfast the following morning before setting off for another hike. Only one warning to visitors -... More

My husband and I spent two nights here for the sole purpose of visiting the Giant's Causeway. We took a combination of buses and a train from the airport in Belfast and shopped for groceries in Coleraine on our way. The bus stop is just a short walk away from the hostel, which was quite manageable with the small amount... More

Great location for the causeway and room was comfortable if a little dusty. Hostel needed a good clean and tidy up. Communal areas felt a bit like a teenager's bedroom with random rubbish and clutter laying about. Biggest annoyance was the advertised 'full English breakfast' which you don't often see in hostels. Expectations were high but the breakfast was certainly... More

Hello Jennifer, sorry to hear you where not happy with the free breakfast and to you it was not sufficient. About the clutter well, we are a hostel and there are other guests around who should feel as comfortable as they can. And we are very happy to assist them in anything that is possible. For a private anonymous room... More
