It was a lovely stay and the breakfast was terrific. I suppose the only negative was having to listen to religious music during breakfast. I had been in contact with the proprietor several months in advance so the room was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. In short, we had a great stay. (:>)

I visited the Seascape at the beginning of May with my partner and we loved every minute we were there. Margaret is so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble at all. Norman, too, was fantastic and even gave us a lift back to the train station when we left. The location of the Seascape is just perfect, you get the... More

Just returned from another excellent stay at this beautiful, spotless homely bed and breakfast. Comfortable bedroom overlooking Belfast Lough and wonderful breakfast cooked by Margaret the proprietor. Can't praise this place enough to be honest and so glad we found it five years ago. Highly recommend it.

This is how it is done! proper old school B&B, homely clean and welcoming. The owners could not help enough, outstanding value too. I am returning and will no longer stay anywhere else in the area. (be prepared for the cooked breakfast of champions!)

We fell in love with this room. Beautifully appointed and decorated, comfortable and cosy. View across fields to the sea. No road noise, absolute peace. Excellent breakfast, good value. Only regret - we only stayed one night.

We stayed with Margaret and Norman for four big, Ulster breakfasts! It was exceptionally good value, very clean with beautiful bed and table linen, lots of off-road parking space, and lots of unexpected extras in the room - bedside clock, torches, face flannels, sofa, chocolate bars with the hot drinks facilities. The accomodation was very comfortable and warm, we were... More

We have stayed in most hotels and B&B's in this area over many years and just recently discovered the Seascape. It is far and away the most friendly, most comfortable, most homely and most reasonably priced accommodation in the Carrickfergus/Islandmagee/Larne/Newtownabbey region. Magnificent views across Belfast Lough, easy access to Belfast, both airports and ferry terminals and of course the attractions... More

My wife and I travelled to Ireland and Northern Ireland for our 10th Anniversary. We arrived in Dublin, rented a car and drove to Carrickfergus the first day. Margaret and Norman welcomed us and we had an excellent stay with them. The house was clean, charming and we had a tasty breakfast the following morning. Also, my wife left behind... More

We spent two nights at Margaret's lovely B&B north of Belfast, we choose it as a base for touring the Glens of Antrim, the Giants Causeway and Belfast City. Margaret looked after us like family, the bedroom and ensuite were spotlessly clean, the radiator piping hot (very much appreciated in January) and the breakfasts were top class. Margaret and Norman... More

I was back at Margaret and Norman's beautiful home for a long weekend and didn't want to leave. There is such a welcoming atmosphere from the house, and Margaret is one of life's lovely people. Caring and helpful, interested in all you are doing. I can't recommend this beautiful place highly enough. Beautiful, spotless, cosy rooms with fabulous furnishings, marvellous views,... More
