We fell in love with this room. Beautifully appointed and decorated, comfortable and cosy. View across fields to the sea. No road noise, absolute peace. Excellent breakfast, good value. Only regret - we only stayed one night.

We stayed with Margaret and Norman for four big, Ulster breakfasts! It was exceptionally good value, very clean with beautiful bed and table linen, lots of off-road parking space, and lots of unexpected extras in the room - bedside clock, torches, face flannels, sofa, chocolate bars with the hot drinks facilities. The accomodation was very comfortable and warm, we were... More

We have stayed in most hotels and B&B's in this area over many years and just recently discovered the Seascape. It is far and away the most friendly, most comfortable, most homely and most reasonably priced accommodation in the Carrickfergus/Islandmagee/Larne/Newtownabbey region. Magnificent views across Belfast Lough, easy access to Belfast, both airports and ferry terminals and of course the attractions... More

My wife and I travelled to Ireland and Northern Ireland for our 10th Anniversary. We arrived in Dublin, rented a car and drove to Carrickfergus the first day. Margaret and Norman welcomed us and we had an excellent stay with them. The house was clean, charming and we had a tasty breakfast the following morning. Also, my wife left behind... More

We spent two nights at Margaret's lovely B&B north of Belfast, we choose it as a base for touring the Glens of Antrim, the Giants Causeway and Belfast City. Margaret looked after us like family, the bedroom and ensuite were spotlessly clean, the radiator piping hot (very much appreciated in January) and the breakfasts were top class. Margaret and Norman... More

Hospitality never known before. Maggie and Norman did everything they could to make our stay perfect. They made our stay exceptional and made us feel like family. A beautiful, spotless relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended. We would not hesitate to recommend and we could sum our review up in one word amazing.

We are just back from a great stay (unfortunately 1 night only, but we will be back!) at Margaret's place and we were delighted by her welcoming ways, the cosiness and calm of the house and the rooms, full of lovely little touches, the magnificent sea view and the superb breakfast. You simply do not want to leave :) Thanks... More

Mrs Margaret Purdie, the owner of the above looked after me like I was one of her own! The property is absolutely gorgeous with lovely seaview, comfy cosy furniture, and lovely personal touches that made it better than a home from home. But the piece de resistance was the fabulous spread each morning for breakfast. Huge bowls of dried fruits,... More
