Loughside is the perfect place to stop-over when visiting Belfast and surrounding areas. I've stayed a couple of times this year and on top of the friendly service, quiet rooms and delicious food, the location is great for travel into Belfast (by car or train) and nearby restaurants and pubs. There are some great places to eat in Carrick as... More

We loved staying here and felt that we were very welcomed. Shirley went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and our late arrival. The room was excellent and we had two wonderful breakfasts and particularly enjoyed the conversation with other visitors. We left something behind and the owner took the time to send in back to us. Highly recommended.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. A residents' lounge is available for guests. This is a small guest house, only accommodating 6 guests so there is a... More

Shirley is a wonderfully friendly and hospitable host and definitely went out of her way to serve and make our stay memorable. We were travelling with a baby & 2 year old (which can sometimes be awkward... More
