Booked this as part of a touristy/family visit over the Valentine's weekend. Booking process was easy, you could tell immediately talking to Heather on the phone that this was a friendly place to stay - the owners also own The Keep Grill (see my review of that, well worth a visit) and consequently are not always around if you arrive... We booked a double room for 3 nights, but were given a family room which was very large, beautifully decorated and very clean. Despite facing onto a busy road the secondary glazing meant that we didn't have any traffic noise. The couple who run The Keep are lovely and Paula who does the breakfasts is an absolute gem, and oh... More

Such a lovely home and owner very welcoming and helpful in finding attractions and restaurants in town. Very clean and updated. Parking right in front of the house and nearly across the street from great restaurants and the castle. Main road through town a little noisy during the day but quiets down at night. Windows solid so noise is minimum.

Four adult family members shared two rooms here. We were fortunate to be allocated family rooms so had lots of space. The owners were helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage in the morning while we went to the Titanic Museum. The beds were clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and gluten free bread was... More

Rooms had plenty of space ( we stayed in two rooms ) and were very clean. Great communication with the owners, and they kindly arranged for their housekeeper to welcome us as they couldn't be there when we arrived early in the afternoon. Excellent suggestion for dinner (Ownies), and the best Ulster Fry breakfast we had in Ireland!!

Both myself and my friend stayed for an enjoyable 2 nights in a very spacious and spotless twin room. Superb Ulster Fry breakfast served in a beautiful dining room. Perfectly located for whatever you may need in the wonderful town of Carrickfergus.

We stayed just for one night, but it was great! Lovely designed rooms, lekker breakfast! We could even dry our tent in the backyard! We enjoyed the friendly talk with Raymond, and the tip for the still opened pub was lifesaving ;-)! Thx

Hi Ramon, Thank you both very much for your kind comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the breakfast. It was a pleasure to have been able to help you get your tent dried out, it made a pleasant change seeing it out on the line instead of our washing. Take care. Warmest regards, Raymond. More
