I stayed here with my sister and father on a family trip to the Champagne region and we absolutely loved it. From the spotless, large rooms, the cosy and interesting decor (full of antiques), to the warmth of Valerie and her family, the home-grown produce and outstanding breakfast and dinners, our stay was just perfect. We stayed for 4 nights... More

After a long drive from UK it was perfect to find such a quiet peaceful location and a beautiful house. Room very spacious and well equipped, evening meal was excellent food, wine and company. Valerie was the perfect hostess and GIzmo the dog is a big friendly greeter as you arrive. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay. Peaceful, relaxed, very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and we enjoyed the delicious home cooked dinners too. Aperitifs in the lovely garden. Well appointed attractive rooms. Family friendly. Champagne vineyards in easy reach. Valerie and her family team could not have been more helpful. A special thank you to her!

Great place for our last night in France and a relatively short drive to Calais. Comfortable room and lovely dinner and breakfast. We loved the homemade clafoutis and liquors. Would have been nice to have had a bit longer to explore the area.

Wonderful host, rooms and location. The dinner was a highlight of our trip- absolutely faultless. We only stayed one night on the way back to Calais, but we could easily have stayed longer. A really special B & B.

We stayed for 1 night on our way to Italy, it is very convenient for the motorway but set in a very quiet rural location. We had the family room which worked very well. Food in the evening was eaten together with the other guests and was lovely, with local produce and very good value. Breakfast was also very nice,... More

Overall we had a nice stay and were really pleased with how friendly the daughter who greeted us was, and how nicely the place had been renovated as well as how clean it all was. You get the sense that it has all been very thoughtfully done. We stayed one night on our way south with two kids (aged 1... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review, we are disappointed that some points were not so good as you expected. It is true that the bath in the Hautes Vues suite suit not very well for having a shower - we will improve the situation with a glass screen along the bath to make simpler the shower. Regarding the "firmness"... More

Instead of staying at a motorway hotel for a stop-off while driving through France, I would massively recommend the 20-minute diversion to spend a night here. What a fantastic place! Gorgeous house, lovely bedrooms, beautiful gardens to walk through, and a fantastic four-course home-cooked dinner, including cheese from the village, and in our case, an amazing homemade clafoutis for dessert!... I found this as I was searching for a place to stop for one night during a long drive to our ski destination, but this turned out to be a superb family stay, I wish I could stay longer, the family suite is huge, comfy, great for a family of 4. Valerie is just an awesome hostess, thoughtful, genuinely nice... More
