Great place for our last night in France and a relatively short drive to Calais. Comfortable room and lovely dinner and breakfast. We loved the homemade clafoutis and liquors. Would have been nice to have had a bit longer to explore the area.

Wonderful host, rooms and location. The dinner was a highlight of our trip- absolutely faultless. We only stayed one night on the way back to Calais, but we could easily have stayed longer. A really special B & B.

We stayed for 1 night on our way to Italy, it is very convenient for the motorway but set in a very quiet rural location. We had the family room which worked very well. Food in the evening was eaten together with the other guests and was lovely, with local produce and very good value. Breakfast was also very nice,... More

Overall we had a nice stay and were really pleased with how friendly the daughter who greeted us was, and how nicely the place had been renovated as well as how clean it all was. You get the sense that it has all been very thoughtfully done. We stayed one night on our way south with two kids (aged 1... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review, we are disappointed that some points were not so good as you expected. It is true that the bath in the Hautes Vues suite suit not very well for having a shower - we will improve the situation with a glass screen along the bath to make simpler the shower. Regarding the "firmness"... More

Instead of staying at a motorway hotel for a stop-off while driving through France, I would massively recommend the 20-minute diversion to spend a night here. What a fantastic place! Gorgeous house, lovely bedrooms, beautiful gardens to walk through, and a fantastic four-course home-cooked dinner, including cheese from the village, and in our case, an amazing homemade clafoutis for dessert!... I found this as I was searching for a place to stop for one night during a long drive to our ski destination, but this turned out to be a superb family stay, I wish I could stay longer, the family suite is huge, comfy, great for a family of 4. Valerie is just an awesome hostess, thoughtful, genuinely nice... More

We stayed here on the way back up from skiing, having found it randomly on the internet. We could not have been happier with it. We stayed in the family suite which had a nice firm door between us and our children so we did not get woken up by their squeaking in the morning. The room was tastefully and... More

If you're travelling north or South on the A26 this is. A very convenient place to stay - much better than anywhere I have found in Reims, Eparnay or Chalons. The rooms are modern and tasteful and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the modern shower was a treat. If that's not enough Valerie and Didier are lovely... More

Perfect location for an overnight stop en-route to the Alps. Booking direct with Valerie was very easy and the Pre du Moulin is a beautiful building situated in a very peaceful village. The room (we had the family room) is spacious, comfortable and very nicely decorated. The evening meal was excellent and breakfast was the usual continental fare. All in... More

Highly recommended - very friendly, capable host/hostess. Located in a cute little town and a nice drive to Epernay, Reims et al. You'll enjoy the family, dogs and conversation - the food was quite adequate and we will go out of our way to stay here again. cb
