Stayed here 3 days at the start of our holiday and again on the return. The B&B was excellent. Could not have stayed in a better place. The owners were so attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Could not recommend this place enough to anyone that was thinking of staying in this area. Enjoyed... More

What a wonderful place to stay. Aisla and Tom are fantastic hosts. Nothing is a problem for them and Aisla cooks the most wonderful breakfasts with the famous Cookstown sausages. It is nice and quiet and only a few minutes into town where there are some great restaurants to eat at. The room we had was lovely and spacious and... More

I am sure that not nearly enough people know about this fabulous B&B situated in the countryside just a short distance from Cookstown. It is a lovely home with Ailsa and Tom being two of the nicest people you could hope to meet. They made us feel so at home. Our room was large and comfortable with a huge bathroom... More

Everything I had reviewed was very positive so decided to book there! Absolutely loved it. You are treated like royalty! The room was excellent, comfortable bed and the breakfast was just as awesome. The location is great for exploring the western side of Northern Ireland. It is in a nice quiet area and is a great value! Would definately stay... More

We stayed here in September last year when over for our friends wedding, which was nearby. Lovely friendly welcome from Ailsa and Tom. This is a clean well kept house, decor may be old fashioned for some but it is a B&B not a hotel. You are immersed farmland so no road noise. We had the en-suite family room which... More

Just spent a lovely few days catching up with family and friends, and making new ones!. Tom and Ailsa are the best hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them, and I'm still missing the breakfasts - perfectly cooked and always served with a smile. The rooms are all beautiful, plenty of space for everything, comfortable beds and 2 sitting... More

Arrived at this lovely quaint B&B in the beautiful countryside of Cookstown, Co Tyrone to a lovely welcome from the owners Tom and Ailsa McQueen. We quickly settled in with tea and cake. The room we had was lovely with shower and loo. It was clean and welcoming, the bed was lovely and comfy. Towels changed everyday, tv and tea... More

A last minute booking on a rainy weekend, sadly for a funeral, but we were at once feeling at home in this special place. Tom and Ailsa look after you like family and the rooms and catering are great. We will be back in happier and sunnier times, to take better advantage of their great welcome. A comfortable improvement on... More

I spent 3 nights staying with Tom and Ailsa at the Avondale B&B, having booked for the location plus the strength of the reviews on Trip Advisor, and I wasn't disappointed. Talk about hospitality - what warm and lovely people they were. I went to Northern Ireland to seek out the townland my Irish ancestors came from, and Tom's knowledge... More
