Disabled access and chairlifts for stairs! The bar food is reasonable portions. The price of the food is slightly overpriced. The customer service was good on the day we ate there. It was quiet and we had privacy to eat our meal. All in all we had a good experience there

The front lobby was very nice but our room smelled musty. Hotel staff on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The room seemed to be clean. When we opened the window to get some air in the room, it was noisy from downstairs restaurant. Not sure I could recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed for 1 night with my 3 sisters. Hotel old fashioned but met our requirements fine. Hotel let us all stay in one family room (very few hotels will allow this). Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Positive - hotel walking distance to all the shopping on offer in Cookstown. Negative - menu - stuck in the 1980's. Had... More

My self and my brother have just enjoyed a wonderful few days in Cookstown N.Ireland. There where several hotels which offered us a great stay but we plumbed for The Royal Hotel. The hotel is idealy situated in the centre of the town and offers first class accomodation without any frills at very competitive rates and the food was excellent... More

The staff were friendly and polite and accommodating enjoyed my stay here. Would stay again no problems big breakfast included in price. They contacted taxis and recommended places to see and things to do. They don't rush you out of your room in the morning.

The Royal Hotel has a very nice lobby and lovely dining room. The food is quite good and the service is excellent. The hotel is just down the street from the bus station and a block from the main street. The small single room that I had looked over the flat roof and some discarded bathroom equipment resting there...not so... More

We stayed here for one night on business, our office having arranged for us to stay here to give us parking for our van, a good night's sleep and some breakfast before our early start. Firstly on arrival we were told that while they could unlock the gate to the little alley to park our van, they wouldn't recommend it... More

We spent two nights in Royal Hotel and found the staff to be extremely friendly and attentive to all our needs. As we had booked bed and breakfast only the choice of food for breakfast was great and very good value for money. The bar snacks are excellent and delivered by friendly staff with a sense of humour!! The rooms... More
