I stayed here twice on business and cannot speak highly enough of the hotel. From check in to bar staff to food, all were excellent. I was unable to make breakfast die to early starts and was supplied with a superb packed lunch. If I am ever in the area I will defiantly stay there again.

I bring my tour group from Australia every year to visit some local ancient sites and the Giant's Causeway. We always stay at the Royal and everyone always loves it. Wonderful staff and a great restaurant with very economical prices.

Great location and very friendly staff. Perfect for one night stay with great value for money! Only downside was having to lock the door myself after a night out, but for the money I didn't mind! I stayed in the twin room which was lovely, the bathroom was slightly dated but clean. The bed sheets were fresh and the facilities... More

I was supposed to be here for two nights but UNFORTUNATELY my visit was cut short. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms and food were excellent. If you are in Tyrone stay here! You will not regret it.

We Do not recommend this hotel. Worst accommodation in Ireland to date. They are attempting to do up rooms. In their favour the breakfast was plentiful and a pleasant surprise. Could not find many exciting things to do around the area but was booked for close proximity to the Giants Causeway. Limited coffee shops in the area .

Disabled access and chairlifts for stairs! The bar food is reasonable portions. The price of the food is slightly overpriced. The customer service was good on the day we ate there. It was quiet and we had privacy to eat our meal. All in all we had a good experience there

The front lobby was very nice but our room smelled musty. Hotel staff on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The room seemed to be clean. When we opened the window to get some air in the room, it was noisy from downstairs restaurant. Not sure I could recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed for 1 night with my 3 sisters. Hotel old fashioned but met our requirements fine. Hotel let us all stay in one family room (very few hotels will allow this). Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Positive - hotel walking distance to all the shopping on offer in Cookstown. Negative - menu - stuck in the 1980's. Had... More

My self and my brother have just enjoyed a wonderful few days in Cookstown N.Ireland. There where several hotels which offered us a great stay but we plumbed for The Royal Hotel. The hotel is idealy situated in the centre of the town and offers first class accomodation without any frills at very competitive rates and the food was excellent... More
