We found this hostel almost by accident when we travelled to Wales with a group of friends and it was a nice surprise!

Although the location is somewhat inconvenient (a car is an absolute must), we felt very welcome by the host (who opened his bar especially for us and engaged in a friendly conversation). The whole place is decorated on a Mexican theme, which is a quite surprising yet very pleasant feeling in a remote area of Wales. Our two dorms (one with 6 beds, the other with 4) were small but cosy and the shower-/bathrooms (separate for gents and ladies) were absolutely clean, modern and convenient. The place our host indicated for dinner, although a few minutes' drive away, served us a brilliant dinner.

A very pleasant experience, especially regarding the value for money.
