A very clean, comfortable and value for money room. Well situated with small car park at rear but easy access to other car parks in the town. Good selection for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar downstairs. Newsagents, restaurants, coffee shops close by.

Well you know your're in Wales as soon as you walk in the Drovers Arms, the majority of the customers are chatting away in Welsh and they all look at you when you speak English, having said that I did feel welcome and found it fascinating to hear the Welsh language. Close to the the main town so a good... More

Stayed here on a Saturday Night, friendly staff very welcoming and rooms clean and comfortable. Good shower. No wardrobes, just a clothes rail which was absolutely fine. Town is very busy with lots of young people having a good time as well as older ones, everyone very friendly. Bar area quite noisy which is expected and breakfast was good with... More

A good rate for a double room and nice breakfast. Shower is very good, but bed was not that comfy (more lumpy) and the room was far too cold at night. Car parking for 3/4 cars is around the rear, if you can find the way in. The hotel is a really an inn and the bar is essentially the... More

Clean but basic and out-dated rooms. No wi fi in rooms and no where to sit quietly in the bar area. Breakfast is ok but very greasy. For 65 pound a night I have stayed in much nicer places. Needs a refurb and Wii fi available in rooms.

This hotel has very friendly staff and we were made very welcome. The room was comfortable and a great price for the night. We had dinner at the Pizza Express and then on route back to the Hotel we visited a few other bars, the nightlife there was great, people were very pleasant and we felt very comfortable. Breakfast was... More

We arrived on Friday afternoon and despite also being busy with the bar was over to us really quickly to check us in. The bar in the evening was good fun with everybody getting to know each other. Breakfast in the morning was also very good.

Stayed in the "Drovers" whilst at a wedding Thursday Night. We had a room at the far end of the corridor and it was nice and quiet. I can see if you had a room above the bar it could be noisy!!. The staff were very helpful (when we arrived the lady on the deck moved her car so that... More
