Superb B&B. Nicely decorated, great shower, excellent breakfast every morning. Perfectly located for local attractions including the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and several castles. Check the map before you leave home as the sat-nav will let you down.

Absolutely superb accommodation and wonderful garden. Though it was a single night stay, we had a pleasant stay. Rooms are up to the standards. We would highly recommend and would definitely like to stay again.

Second visit to the B&B. It is in a beautiful rural location. The property is well cared for and loved. The room is spotlessly clean with nice views of the countryside. Breakfast is very good. Used it as a base to explore the local area by bike. Owners stored my bike. They are very friendly and hospitable. A very pleasant... More

We visited the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and needed an overnight stay before spending the next day back at the Gardens. Shakeshafts is the perfect place. Just a few minutes drive away, spotlessly clean, excellent shower, really good cooked breakfast and friendly hosts with their own wonderful gardens. If you walk up the rather steep back field of the... More

I agree with previous reviews. No complaints with this B&B at all. Friendly hosts, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Bathroom, bedroom and walk-in wardrobe all great. And a sculpture by my brother-in-law in the garden (but, no, the owners are no relation). Will definitely be staying again next time I am in the area.

Very comfortable and spotless accommodation with charming hosts. A beatiful garden and splendid views across the Towy valley make this a perfect spot for a stay near Carmarthen. We've stayed a few times and it has never failed to live up to expectations. Highly recommended.

This was a great bed and breakfast outside of Carmarthen. The rooms were immaculate, the beds were super comfortable and the hosts were wonderful people. They had helpful advice for sight seeing and great directions when we left to enable to get to our next location. The grounds were beautiful and allowed for a gorgeous view for sunset and sunrise.
