We stayed for two nights in October 2014. The reception on arrival was very good. Room was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed the stay and will return again. We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed each visit.

We enjoyed our one night stay at The Cawdor Hotel. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, warm, friendly and informative. The secure, gated car park at the rear of the hotel is approached via a narrow twisting lane and you have to descend on foot down about forty steps to the hotel. People with a lot of luggage are... Lovely room, we were upgraded, with beautiful on-suite. Ate at the hotel on second evening and enjoyed the meal very much. Good menu. If I had any complaint the dining room lacked atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent on both mornings. Hotel located in a beautiful town convenient for West Wales.

This is a really nice hotel, right in the centre of town. Good lounge and bar area. We also ate dinner in the hotel which was good - the chef is trying hard to be innovative, which we liked. Breakfast was good too - all freshly cooked and more choice than in many places. Service with one exception was very,... More

The hotel is really charming. The rooms are well designed, clean and very comfortable. There is a bar and lounge area which are tastefully decorated with homely touches and a courtyard area which catches the sun if you want to sit outside. They serve a yummy cream tea which is great value for money. All the staff are friendly, helpful... More

A nice small town hotel in the old style. Walk up stairs to the rooms. We had a top floor "garrett" room that was huge, with a modern bath equally huge -and a floor that squeaked and squealed at each step. The included breakfast with cooked to order entre was average. Wifi is free.

This hotel could it be a "historic site", very well documented by the photos in the living areas. I love all the atmosphere inside. Beside has fenomenal staff. Because the restaurant was close they offer us the possibility of dinning in the bar.

The hotel itself is nice, the room we stayed was massive with big modern bathroom which had Molton Brown amenities. However we stayed on Sunday so restaurant is closed so the only food available is from the bar and it's not great I'm afraid. Other downside is wifi reception - we stayed in Bettws room and couldn't get any wifi... More

Friendly welcome. Lovely room in the courtyard. Breakfast very good. Freshly cooked to order each day. So much better than the usual help yourself buffet where you items have dried up under a lamp. Unless you have to, don't stay on a Sunday night as Llandeilo shuts soon after lunch and unless you want to drive you will struggle to... More

We stayed here with our 9mth old son and found the staff very helpful indeed (especially the young man who helped carry our pushchair to the car park at the end of our visit). Our room was quiet and the travel cot was large enough that he settled quickly! We were in Room 6 - very spacious and a decent... More
