normally I am not fussy, but this time we travelled with a little baby and booked this acommodation specifically asking for a baby bed. We were assured there is one and were promised a family room. Upon arrival the owners said they did not know about the baby and they did not have the bed, family room was located in... More

Excellent B&B, comfortable, great breakfast and friendly owners. We were particularly pleased that they were happy for us to bring our small dog. Barney was also very appreciative! Very conveniently placed to explore Skipton. Recommended.

By far the best B&B I have stayed in. I used the B&B for apx 15 months whilst working in the area. Fantastic room, great breakfast and the most welcoming owners possible. I certainly would not hesitate in using this B&B again if and when I return to Skipton.

Comfortable, affordable, and close to Skipton town centre. Lovely room, clean and comfortable and well worth the price. Bathroom was a little small, but perfectly fine for a single room and made up for by a nice double bed! I was very well looked after by the owners, who made me very welcome all the way through. Just what I... More

my friend and i decided to have a short trip away from home and we recieved a warm welcome from Moira and Howard. Room 3 is an attic room so lots of stairs but it is very spacious and has a double and a single bed with en-suite shower room. Towels and flannels provided as well as all the little... More

We spent six nights at this B&B, and this was a return visit. Cravendale is not a pretentious place, but it is clean, comfortable, and offers everything you need for an enjoyable visit. Breakfast was more than ample, and you can have any combination of the Full English, to a variety of cereals, yogurt, etc. Only a couple of blocks to... More

We decided to stop off for the night in Skipton on our way back to Leeds after a couple of nights in The Lakes. We stayed here at the very late notice after a nearby B & B had let us down due to a double booking. The couple who own The Cravendale are very friendly and very helpful. The... More

We stayed at the Cravendale Guest House first weekend in December 2012 and LOVED it! The room and en suite bathroom were spotless. What we particularly liked was the generous supply of tea bags - not the cheap and nasty "nameless" ones you can get in some B&Bs, but a named brand and plenty of them. The complimentary packets of... More

Perfect bed and breakfast. located just far enough away from the town centre to be peaceful. Friendly hosts and provided exactly what you would expect from a bed and breakfast and a little bit more. Rooms are comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely weekend in Skipton during the first weekend of September and loved staying at the Cravendale Guest House. Howard and Moira are friendly and accommodating and welcomed us very warmly. The room was clean with lots of natural light. We even had tea and cookies in our room! The guesthouse is located very close to the town centre... More
