Found this by chance when looking for accommodation in Skipton and it was faultless. The accommodation was excellent - beautifully clean and every facility you could think of. Breakfast was lovely and the owners could not do enough to make you feel welcome. We thought it was very good value for money and shall definately be making a return visit.... More

We visited the Skipton Xmas Fayre this year for the first time. What a disappointment! Despite the bad weather we had a good look around - no apparent Dickensian Theme as advertised and just ordinary market stalls. However, Chinthurst House went a long way towards making up for things. Excellent accommodation, if a shade pricey, high quality everywhere in the... More

Stayed here with my husband for 2 nights in November 2011. Warm welcome, and very comfortable, clean room. Excellent breakfast, with good range of fresh fruit, a great selection of breads for toasting and good choice of cooked breakfast to choose from. The guest house is ideally situated to walk into Skipton, for eating and shopping. More

Stayed here with my husband for a romantic weekend. We booked the Executive Suite which was beautiful. Four Poster bed that was so comfy, separate lounge area with flat screen TV and a very large bathroom with both a bath and a large corner shower. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice of food available and a pleasant room to... More

We spent 3 nights there, on Sept 2011. They were waiting for us at the door since our train arrived a bit late in the evening and gave us a very warm welcome, dinner recommendations included (which were brilliant, btw!). The place is extremely clean and nothing is missed. We had a room in an attached cottage and we even... More

My partner and I recently stayed at the Chinthurst, and I made the booking over the phone directly with the owner who I thought was helpful but had the great potential of being rude, and I am not the first person to say this, indeed the first time we called the Chinthurst and spoke to her, we were told to... This B&B is only a five minute walk into the centre of town which was very convenient. We travelled by train and it still only took 15 minutes to walk from the station. The bus station is about ten minutes from the hotel. The proprietors of this hotel are extremely welcoming, taking time to provide information about the Dales which... More

We stayed in the executive suite which was very impressive. The room was immaculate on arrival and very spacious. Lynn and staff were very friendly and were very helpful in recommending local places to visit. There was a wide variety of choice for breakfast and the full english was really good. Can't rate it highly enough, would definitely go back, More
