I got married at the Tempest Arms on the 24th May 2008. It was the best day of my life and I am so glad we chose the Tempest Arms. The planning of the wedding was made hassle free by Veronica and everything was done without fuss or question. We had guests come from all corners of the country and... more

We have just returned from a three day stay here, September 2008. We stayed in the delightful Room 11, the "Honeymoon Hot Tub Suite". It was gorgeous. The room was elegant, luxurious, well appointed, practical and comfortable to use. The hot tub is a real treat and though this is the most expensive roonm here, the value for money is... more

We could only manage one night at the Tempest as a bit of respite during my wife's cancer treatment. We wanted somewhere just to get away, and also convenient for Skipton and the various mill shops in the area. The Tempest, from start to finish fulfilled all our needs. Reception staff were most helpful during booking. We had a well... more

We stayed for one night only but would have stayed for longer had we not booked elsewhere. We were given one of their larger rooms which easily slept two children and two adults. The room was spacious, with tasteful furnishings and interior design (particularly the colour palette) and a really clean, modern bathroom. Great facilities and a fantastic assortment of... more

Just returned from a three night stay here. Room 2 on the ground floor in the main building-it was excellent! Three of us travelling-myself and my parents-plenty of room and the bathroom was of an ample size. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and very comfortable. Hospitality tray and flap jacks were a welcome extra!! We ate at their... more

We stayed just one the night, enroute from Scotland to home. Room was very comfortable, some nice touches like proper teapot, lovely flapjacks (probably homemade) and Molton Brown toiletries. The bathroom looked a little tired and could do with a redocoration, and was pretty small. Evening meal was very nice pub food, and the service was ok. Breakfast was excellent,... more

We've stayed twice at the Tempest now, most recently in Room 11 with the hot tub, on the patio/garden ,roll top bath and wet room. For the money paid it just can't be faulted (£135 b & b, though there are weekend offers at an even lower price). You need at least a couple of nights in this room to... more

We have always struggled to find decent hotel in the UK that balance price and quality. So we are delighted to find that the Tempest Arms does just that. We stayed in one of the mini-suites (room 16) that are ideal for the vagaries of the local weather - you can throw open the window and watch the beck tumble... more

After having Sunday lunch here we decided we definitely had to come back and stay! We booked the special bank holiday Monday offer where rooms are half price and this includes breakfast too. You have to commit to eating in the restaurant. The rooms were modern, clean and tastefully decorated. Stocked with Molton Brown toiletries and nice tea, coffee and... more

We went on recommendation from friends in February this year for my husbands birthday and were so impressed we booked it again for ourselves and four friends.
