stayed 1 ngt march o8. room clean but dated. barmaid friendly but did not see any locals in bar and it gernerally lacked atmosphere. food overpriced for pub food and we were only diners. so again lacking in atmosphere. overall ok for 1 ngt but wont be rushing back. more

The Buck Inn has had new owner management since Feb 2007. They freely admit the place had become terrible and the recovery has needed more time and effort than they expected. The three owner managers are keen to succeed and they try hard to be very helpful to guests. Buckden village is lovely and so is the Buck Inn externally.... more
