I have reviewed this based upon the type of stay and hotel expected from a cheap Travelodge as I can hardly compare it to 5 star hotels. I booked it with one of their deals so only paid an excellent £25 a night per room. This is one of the better Travelodges I have stayed in. Whilst the room was... More

Standard travelodge-but great value if you can book at a sale price. The staff were friendly, the room clean and entirely adequate. Had a ground floor room and confirm previous reviews that water pressure was not the greatest, but there was water and it was hot. Breakfast options in Skipton centre offer more variety, value and quality than the associated... More

Booked this hotel for two nights in early January 2012 as a weekend away. Hotel is situated about 2 miles out of skipton close to nearby exit roads to get around the dales. Previous reviews have said it is very noisy on a roundabout however we didnt find this to be too much of an issue, as we were at... More

We've used Travelodges for short breaks for years and always found they offer value for money. We rarely pay full price and I suppose we're about due a 'get what you pay for' stay. The room had an odd aroma of carpet cleaner, dog hairs on the duvet, a sticky bathroom floor and very mouldy windows. We were able to... More

I agree with the previous negative reviews - this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Booked 3 nights in a family room over New Year. The beds were not made up on arrival and when we raised it as an issue, the receptionist told us ALL rooms were family rooms, therefore they didnt make up any beds... More

Booked a family room for Christmas Eve and Christmas night as we were visiting family. Other hotels were either full or costing several hundreds whilst this was less than £50 for the two nights!! The welcome was friendly and the beds as comfy as a much more expensive hotel up the road that we like. The family room was fine... More

Have stayed in quite a few Travelodges but this one was very disappointing for 2 basic reasons. 1. The water pressure was that low the shower was just a dribble. 2. The flush on the wc was really poor so I assume they are trying to save water ! I checked with a friend who had also stayed at this... More

We stayed for one night on a business trip due to the convenient location. I would refuse to stay here again. Whilst the receptionist was helpful (particularly when we needed a cab), the room was cold, loud (from the wind outside and work going on outside at 7am - the windows are so poor it lets any heat out and...
