A charming hotel in a superb location, perhaps it trades a bit too much on its reputation. An enjoyable and comfortable place to stay, it is expensive for what you get and could be resting on its laurels a bit. There is no real competition locally - perhaps some local competition could get it to raise its game a bit... more

We stayed here with a party of other guests for a wedding in mid June. This place is a real treat with great staff, wonderful food and the most beautiful setting with some simply stunning scenery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this for a getaway or just an excellent meal. Not to be missed! more
