Stayed for one night. Easy to find and next to a petrol station and nice Indian restaurant. Check in fine and hotel yes is dated inside. Superior room I had was ok but very basic. It was very old and not modern but for the price not too bad. Slept well and internet was free and ok. Outside area nice... More

We arrived at 9pm and were leaving first thing in the morning so the Redwings lodge was ideal for this stopover. I was a bit put off by the smell at the entrance and the men standing at the door with a cigarette in one hand and a pint of beer in the other. However, our impression changed quickly when... More

Despite the overwhelming reek similar to that of a nursing home and because of its close distance to the A1, the hotel itself is secure, simple and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Could do with a few refurbishments here and there however.

I made a late booking to get this accommodation and didn't want to pay much for a brief stay in the area. Other reviews made me hesitate I must confess, but in reality it was a reasonable stay and quite good value. The room was dated but it was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and staff were very... More

Smelly scruffy rooms that smell like nursing homes. booked superior room and was shocked at what someone thought was superior. Ended up being moved to slightly better room after being told superior rooms had all gone! Still smelled really horrible - wet dog and urine smell!! But the beds were ok and had an en suite. The staff are friendly... More

I have stayed at this 'Hotel' before and it was'nt very good then. On this very recent stay it was a grade below a 'Truck Stop'.(sorry truck stop). The room was disgusting. The smell was of sweaty bodies, like 12. The toilet pan was marked with poo. The crockery was stained. We were given another room. The beds have seen... More

My family and I stayed at the Redwings whilst visiting family in nearby Alconbury. The hotel staff were always friendly and welcoming, checking in was easy. We booked via Hotels.com and paid upon arrival. We requested a room with a sofa bed and a cot as we were staying with our three year old and 7 month old. The room... More

Considering it was so cheap I was really surprised. Beautiful room, everything catered for. lovely welcome, really helpful receptionist. Would happily stay here for longer if I could. Everything made so comfortable. Perfect.

This hotel accepted my booking on 11 November for 4 people for the Xmas night only to cancel it later , disrupting my holiday plans. I had checked by phone and email that they were open and had received a confirmation in writing of my booking.

We visited Huntington on family business and needed a cheap bed for the night. The 'Redwing' lodge was very cheap(£35), we booked direct and on arrival we received a 'Premier' room. The room was basic, large (for the price) and clean. The staff were curtious and even managed to find my wife a hair dryer at short notice, as she'd... More
