Exactly what it says on the tin; recently refurbished room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly - and a great TV!! Breakfast could be more comprehensive and bar area more modern but it was all we needed. more

The hotel is very similar to a travelodge in size and looks actually, but personally i would choose this over a travelodge anyday. The isolated location and lack of restaurant facilities, together with the fact that there is no proper reception area make this an impossibly insecure place for any woman travelling alone to stay. The entrance hall was not clean, there was dirty linen strewn on the stairs and the 'premier' bedroom that I was shown lacked any visible standards of hygiene.... more
