Stayed two nights here last week-end and enjoyed our stay, our hosts Liz and Chris made us feel very welcome and supply a super breakfast. Room was comfy and quiet with tea & coffee making facilities. Nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again - hopefully soon!

We stayed at Cheriton House for one night in August and could not fault it! It was a beautiful traditional English b&b in a lovely location with the river and lovely English pubs just two minutes walk away. From the minute we arrived we were well looked after and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Everywhere was very clean... More

We agree with all the comments and really enjoyed our stay. We were made very welcome and have stayed before. However feel bad about having to comment on a bad point but must give an honest review. We stopped in one of the annex rooms and did not feel happy about using the shower. The shower head is in need... More

Thank you very much for taking the trouble to write. I`m very pleased that you enjoyed your stay here again and do apologise if the shower head was not as clean as it should have been . We do clean and replace the heads and hoses regularly . There was a new hose in your room but the shower head... More

My room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable and there were no untoward noises during the night hence I slept well. The bathroom was a good size and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was particularly good. Access and parking is tight.

This is a lovely old hotel with a lot of features - fireplace etc. The owners were very friendly - coming to greet us when we drew in with the car.. We were offered refreshment on arrival and shown our room. This was extremely well appointed with nice bedding and quality goods in the bathroom. There was tea, coffee, hotel,... More

I can only confirm all the previous good reviews. Chris was there to welcome us as we got out of the car, our very well appointed room was one of those on the ground floor opening on to a delightful patio area, where we enjoyed delicious cake and tea. Everything here is of good quality, the furnishings, the toiletries etc.... More

Having read all the reviews that had been published before we made our recent visit, it only remains to say that everything was exactly as other guests had described their experience in this idyllic village and perfect place to stay; from Chris being on hand as the car came to a halt, to Liz's delicious cake to welcome us; to... Based on TripAdvisor reviews (thank you all!) we booked here for a night away, and can confirm everything previous reviewers have said about the service we received from Chris & Liz - we could not fault anything starting from the wonderful greeting on arrival (we really did feel like welcome guests) and the comfortable room provided, and ending with the... We arrived here on one of the few sunny days we had in over two week sin the the UK. The village and the B & B were quaint and welcoming. We were guided to the next village for dinner and a walk. We saw a wonderful working mill by the river, the river loch at work and a wonderful... More

This is a quaint village with Cheriton House a 100yds or so from a very scenic old MIll and river. The B&B owner must have extra sensory perception (or a camera) as he was waiting to greet me as I parked my car on arrival. I was shown to my room in an outside and adjoined annex to the main... More
