I was put in this hotel by my company and after reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about my stay. However, I found it to be a decent hotel with a friendly staff. If you plan on going to bed really early or sleeping really late this may not be the place for you, but for business purposes... more

Do not put yourself through this terrible experience. Please. As a bar it is ok if you don't mind listening to the staff gossip about customers who have probably quite rightly complained about some sort of problem. If you are looking for a Fawlty Towers theme Hotel minus the humour, then book into the Golden Lion in St Ives. On the other hand if you are looking for a decent place to stay then avoid this dump.
