We stayed on 27 February 2015 on a weekend deal - cream tea on arrival, 3 course evening meal with coffee and breakfast the next morning. From our arrival to checking out the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We had a free upgrade to Room 6 and enjoyed the luxury of a four-poster bed and the... More

Enjoyed a winter dinner, bed & breakfast package. The standard room was small but sufficiently spacious for a one night stay; a couple at breakfast were enthusing about their four poster & very large bathroom!. We went for the one with a view of a roof (as it had a larger bed) & the view was actually quite picturesque &... More

We picked up on a Special Offer for The Old Bridge Hotel on the Good Hotel Guide Web-Site consisting of Tea and Scones on arrival, a three course Dinner, full English Breakfast and a £15.00 Wine Tasting Card, all for £199. I phoned the night before our proposed stay in Huntington and to my surprise the offer was still available.... More

I wrote a review in January saying that whilst everything was very good with the roast beef lunch, the horseradish sauce was terrible. Apparently other guests had also said the same. The owner responded to say it would be dealt with. We returned yesterday for Sunday lunch and I am pleased to say everything was delicious including the horseradish sauce... More

We picked the Old Bridge Hotel as it was in a central location for visiting several attractions locally and were glad we did. Having booked a two night stay (Friday and Saturday) in a double room on Dinner Bed and Breakfast basis we were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded (at no extra charge) to a large double room which... A lovely Hotel - We stayed the night before Valentines for one night, our room was really nice, a lovely compfy bed and soft pillows (fab). staff were good, although felt a bit rushed through our evening meal, which although well presented was not great! I had to send mine back and my partners steak was tough. We have lunched... More

We spent valentines day here with an overnight stay. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, the package included afternoon scones and tea with three course dinner. We also tried the wine tasting available in the wine shop. The staff here were very knowledgeable and friendly. The bar and waiting staff were very efficient and it was a busy... More

Huntingdon, once now a proud county town, is now a sad memento of its past, shabby high street full of cheap shops, but still marvellous buildings, the lovely little Cromwell museum (well worth the detour) and the Bridge hotel, which maintains superior standards, a wine shop with tasting section courteously and helpfully run, bedrooms with character and a pretty reasonable... We stayed here for one night and everything was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding and the service was excellent. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. This is one of the few hotels that still shine your shoes at night while you are resting. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
