We are moving from the United Kingdom back to the USA and used this hotel to stay in while our home was being packed and shipped. We are a family of 4 with 4 cats. The Marriott was extremely nice in helping to arrange our extended stay (almost 17 days). Everything we asked for was provided. Housekeeping was very kind... more

The Hotel is situated just off of the A14 at Huntingdon and is very easy to find. Plenty of parking available. The lobby was immaculate and classy and the receptionist immediately stopped talking to her colleague and checked me in. She asked if it was my first time at the Marriott, to which my answer was yes. She proceeded to... more

This hotel was fine enough, but evidently feels that it has 'permission' - as Huntingdon's only large, business-focussed hotel - to do all of the things which business travellers find wearisome. It is like the credit crunch never happened. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished - but are no more relaxing than others on the UK market at half... more

This is a nice hotel in line with other Marriotts but maybe not a fancy. I stay there several times a year. Nice workout room and pool area. VERY filling English breakfast buffet. For a quieter room, avoid the side by the highway. Internet access is pricey at 25 GBS per day. more

Was a bit nervous having read some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised with our stay. we arrived having booked a long weekend with Tesco clubcard tokens and although was worried having seen Hotel was next to busy Dual-carriageway, we were amazed how quiet the rooms were. Although our room was next to the road the excellent triple glazing... more

Just spent the night at the Marriott, Huntingdon and have to say that it was fairly good but we have stayed at far better Marriotts. The reception was quite poor with only one girl working and a queue of about ten people waiting to check in. She seemed rushed off her feet, with the phones ringing and moaning customers etc.... more

We also arrived during the re-fit for one night in Jan 09 (as did the previous reviewer) and had not been warned this was taking place. As we were only staying one night to go to a family party in the area it did not bother us too much but I did not feel that the hotel did much to... more

I stayed here for 1 night on business, I had intended to stay elsewhere but was fully booked, there had been some good reviews on here so I thought I'd take a chance. Upon arriving I had to LITERALLY climb over the work men doing work in the lobby, with all my bags I tripped over one of their hazard... more

We booked into the Mariott for a one night stay following a wedding held nearby, and our experience overall was average, although I would say that the check-in was one of the worst I have ever experienced. We phoned ahead to explain that the wedding we were attending was at 1.30 and so asked whether it would be possible to... more

Stayed for 2 nights with a coach party from Carlisle on weekend of 27th September 2008. Read earlier reviews and feared the worst. Very pleasantly surprised by what we found. First rate speedy and efficient reception for party of 39. Rooms obviously refurbished, very comfortable and clean. Restaurant service attentive and efficient at all times although food a little basic.... more
