Stayed for a short 2 night weekend stay recently and had a lovely time. The room was very comfortable and clean with Sky TV and an excellent Free WiFi service. We were given a very warm welcome by John and Julia on arrival and were instantly wowed by an excellent lunch - the home made freshly cooked Scotch Egg was... More

We decided to go here last minute, having enjoyed a lunch three weeks before. It was not too busy and the service was calm, relaxed and good. Their house champagne by Jean Vaselle was really excellent, unusual strong fruity notes with a freshness to the pallet. The starters sampled were the kidneys and the beef carpaccio and again both were... More

called in by chance on a Saturday evening as we were passing. Place was quite busy, refurbished these days internally to a modern faceless style totally at odds with the well preserved period exterior character but a pleasant environment nonetheless. The owner happened to be at the bar, humourlessly served us drinks and when we inquired about a table for... More

A blend of the traditional and modern, the rebirth of this inn from the fire of three years ago has been astonishing, friendly service and tranquil surroundings make this an ideal place to stay. We had freshly ground coffee, along with a delightful starter out in the gardens. The establishment is kept immaculately by the owners,i would say this is one... More

We had a lovely short stay here, in March this year, with our dog. We found the food excellent and the rooms very clean and comfortable. We needed oxygen delivered to the hotel for my sister and this was easily accommodated by John. Staff are pleasant and helpful. This hotel is well set up for the disabled. We would highly... More

We stayed just one night at The Abbot's Elm and would definitely stay again. Supremely comfortable bed, really well appointed room, and the most lovely welcoming hosts (and their friendly spaniels). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - no menus, just whatever we fancied (including super coffee and some lovely hot cross buns as it was Easter Sunday). Didn't have dinner... More

5 star accommodation, service and food! Delightful owners who go out of their way to make you feel welcome . Lovely pub/ restaurant . Bedroom was spotless and extremely comfortable. One of the nicest places I've stayed in ! Picture postcard village but very close to Huntingdon. Highly recommend

I have stayed at The Abbot's Elm. It is a lovely place, excellent food, good service and comfortable well appointed rooms. When the The Three Horseshoes at Moat Lane Abbot's Ripton was destroyed by fire in 2010, some people accidently placed reviews for another Three Horseshoes on this site which has now been incorrectly updated under the Abbot's Elm name.... Just one night here, but very pleasant stay. Nice room with comfy bed and free wi-fi. Good home made (not frozen) pizza that was fairly priced. Good beer in the bar and a nice quality cooked breakfast. Would definitely return
