Lovely warm welcome from Eleri, excellent food, both breakfast and evening meals. Very comfortable room and bed. The surrounding countryside is lovely. We would highly recommend this B & B. We could not have wished for more during our 3 night break. From Brian and Margaret.

Lovely little find this, tucked into the side of the Vyrnwy valley, Tan Y Graig offers a cosy couple of rooms, great hosts and filling breakfasts. The gardens are delightful, and Eleri is full of useful recommendations to get the best out of the local area: a real hidden gem indeed.

We stayed on our last night of walking Glyndwr's Way, and were picked up from Meifod by Eleri (very much appreciated, as I had sore feet) and then made very welcome in spite of our rather muddy boots etc. Our room was really comfortable with everything we could need, and the breakfast was delicious, with home made bread. A lovely... More

I stayed at Tan y Graig in September 2014, just before the last leg of my hike. I could not speak more highly of the comfort, quality of accommodation, beautiful food and excellent hospitality provided by Eleri. My room was quite large, overlooking the garden and with a well-stocked bathroom, and generous provisions. The bed was comfortable, the shower was... More

Here one night while walking Glyndwr's Way. Eleri is a welcoming host and a good cook. My room was very clean and comfortable with an adjoining huge bathroom: more my own suite than a bedroom. Dinner and breakfast were both really good, nothing not to like.

Eleri was so welcoming as we trudged in from a day's walk on Glyndwr's Way. We drank a beer in her beautiful garden, relaxing in late afternoon sunshine. Our room was perfect - roomy and clean. Her meals were excellent (lamb shank and salmon for dinner), and her homemade bread is a treat. We stay in B&Bs all the time... More

Just returned from a two night stay and everything about this B&B can only be described as first class. We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years and can honestly say that this is the best in terms of friendliness, hospitality, accommodation, cleanliness and well cooked full English breakfasts with home-made bread. In hindsight, we should have had our... More

This was a lovely B & B to stay and would recommend to everyone. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean and well maintained. The location was lovely and situated against a wooded area so you could watch the birds and squirrels from your bedroom window. The host was very, very friendly and made our stay very welcoming and enjoyable.... More

This is such a good place to stay. As stated in other reviews, Eleri is a great host. I arrived after a very long cycle down from North Wales. Nothing was too much trouble and the double room I stayed in was lovely with all the usual touches you would expect of a place like this. The gardens surrounding the... More

Eleri is THE most wonderful host! My mum and I arrived at Tan y Craig B&B with only minutes to spare to get to the wedding we were attending, and Eleri went out of her way to drive us to the wedding to make sure we got there on time- she was an absolute life-saver, and her kindness and hospitality...
