A warm welcome upon arrival set the tone for our visit. This was a quick stop for lunch, but we will definitely be back! Generously filled sandwiches with very tasty home made chips. Highly recommended Inn not far off the beaten track.

Having spent a few evenings at the Horton Inn since the new Management Team & Staff arrived on October (14th. I think?) - we now learn that this exellent Team put in place by Marston's to revive this previously poor establishment - has now been forced to leave due to a lack of support from Marston's. What a shame! We... More

I take my wife and family out quite often for meals and thought I would try out the Horton Inn. You are instantly greeted with a warm welcome from the staff who were extremely courteous and helpful. We ordered our starter and main and was surprised how quickly they were bringing it out to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal... More

We have now visited twice since it has been under new management, and both times the food has been great, the ale has been top quality and the staff are very friendly, and offer a nice warm welcome. Just a shame we have already made plans for christmas as the menu for christmas looks lovely :)

Only recently taken over, the new staff could not have been more helpful even though we arrived on the limit of lunch service. Good pub food, scampi and ham,egg and chips. They are ging to re-decorate. It needs it; and happily they are going to stop "sauces in sachets". Pots are better. Wishing them every success.

Stayed 18/10/13. Felt genuinely welcome, Enjoyed food, Staff seemed like genuine people. Management has changed along with all but two members of staff i understand, judging by previous reviews it was maybe well needed. Room and en suite was perfect for a one night stay as the room was clean, To be straightforward the management and staff we interacted with... More

We stayed here Saturday night after travelling from Yorkshire for a Christening in Poole. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. On the Sunday morning we were in a rush and the owners made sure our breakfasts were prepared first, so we wouldn't be late to the christening. The owners managed the other guests expectations as well as ours. The... More

Great value for money, large clean rooms, really friendly new owners. We got a great last minute deal and got far more then we expected. Breakfast was lovely and served with a smile. Would recommend :)

The new management team took over the running of this beautiful Inn on the 14th October with the intention of turning it back to it's former glory.Built in the eighteenth Century and surrounded by the beautiful forests and woods of Wimborne, the Horton Inn is the chance to take a step back in history and revel in the majestic traditional English surroundings.
