I stayed here for a few days while attending a conference in the area. The hotel is big, and looks as if it was very popular in it's heyday. There is a waterpark attached, but during the winter, most of the slides and pools were full of leaves from the previous Fall. Some room have been remodeled, but the bathrooms... More

Ok, so the carpets have seen better days, and no doubt if this were one of the 'chain' hotels it would have had a facelift by now, but there's plenty to recommend the Miranda - it's got character and the whole place does feel in a slight time-warp, but the rooms are a good size with comfy beds and nice... Room is dark and has a very bad "moisture" smell. It was winter, but the room was so warm. You cannot even control the temperature in your room as it is central aircond. The carpet is like they have been used for centuries with many stains that gives you imaginations of what other people had done in this room. You... More

I don't understand the other reviews here - even if you're a little sensitive and new to Korea, this Hotel isn't that bad. I stayed here for a week and was pretty worried after reading all these comments. When I arrived I was suprised already, as it looked like any other 4/5 star korean hotel (except for the luxurious Seoul... More

i was here for 01 day after exploring Suwon city. Icheon is small city in Gyeonggi do. They are famous in producing good quality rice and many plantation. The Hotel itself is certainly 04 star. They have Waterpark and sport massage ( around 80.000 won for 1,5 hour ). The room i stay is 711. the room is spacious with... More

I was forced to stay at this hotel because it is the only large hotel in the area and this is where they book international travelers when we provide service to our customer located here. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The inside reminded me of an old Eastern European Communist hotel. Very drab,... More

Its the only big hotel in Icheon. It smelt strange, breakfast in our room was awful. We were expecting a more western taste rather than a korean fusion. The hotel needed some "life" maybe more plants, brighter paintings. The bed was good and the room a decent size for that prize. Good taxi service from the hotel although its the... More

Pro's- More breakfast buffet food on offer than most. Staff friendly Cons- Small rooms Cheap mattresses- not old but clearly very cheap, not comfortable at all Cheap pillows Thermostats that reset to 32deg. Air outside -10C, air inside dry and stuffy. Wake up every few hours to find that the thermostat has reset itself to 32deg again. 5star reviews on... More

It seems Miranda Hotel is the best Hotel in Icheon city. Unfortunately it does not mean it is a very good hotel. I had a big room, in the bathroom was not enough light and needs urgently a renovation. Furniture in the room was old, no safe, internet working well. Breakfast buffet style: only limited western food, quality so-so. Only... More

Where do I start? The hairs found in the tiny, shelf-free bathroom, the sticky 30 year old carpet, the 40'sh era decor in Tigerwood all beat up, the non-existent AC, the impossible to-connect-to Wi-Fi (w/neither of two different laptops, XP & W7), the lame and inedible breakfast, the fact that the whole room has ZERO drawers, the 22"deep closet w/...
