My Wife and I stayed here for our trip to the local vineyard bought as a Christmas present by our boys. The rooms were spacious and in top condition, we were very pleased to see such a well presented room with a excellent bathroom attached. We had two meals here one being the pie and the other steak both I... More

I stayed at The Black Bull for one night with a gardening buddy. My friend and I both had excellent rooms, spacious and well appointed with free wifi, wonderful large beds and real coffee. We were given a warm welcome and were provided with a delicious meal. The bar was quite lively for a Sunday night, mainly with diners enjoying... More

We booked this hotel as its nice and close to a wine tasting venue we had as a gift for Christmas and we could walk back to this B&B. We had just finished a luxury few days in Cambridge and the Black Bull was half the price so didn't expect too much form it. What a nice surprise we had.... More

Very friendly staff, lovely rooms, excellent food. We enjoyed our visit so much we decided to stop a extra night. The Black Bull is situated in pleaseant village where we wondered across the local cricket club and met some extremely friendly people. This is a ideal base to visit Cambridge and other local attractions. We ate 3 nights in the... More

My wife and I booked a two night stay. The room was comfortable and quiet since it across the courtyard from the Pub. The famous Black Bull Pie lives up to its reputation. Enjoy one and you will evermore compare all other pies to this. Mobile phone reception is poor - that is either a hindrance or a bonus but... More

we thought we would ride from linton and visit the black bull for the first time, and have a bite to eat, disappointing food, kids shared a cheese baguette for £6? poor, about 6 inches tops, very little cheese and a tiny tired side salad and so called home cooked crisps straight from a packet. my wife wanted a prawn... Thank you for coming to visit us from Linton for your first visit. I am sorry this was so unrepresentative of what we do here. Please do try again and I am sure you will be glad you did as we are so close for you and offer a menu for every occasion, whether just a quick sandwich (on fresh... More

I stayed at the Black Bull on a recent business trip. The room was very nicely presented and clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I had dinner which was delicious, and even stayed for breakfast (I don't usually bother) as the had Eggs Benedict on the breakfast menu, which was divine.

We were received by the very friendly staff, shown our room and given a late lunch at 2.30 p.m. - a wonderful pie. Really large and excellent room, well furnished and with a good bathroom. However, there was no mobile phone reception from any of 3 providers and we could not connect to the hotel wi-fi - as there was... More

We cannot fault it. We arrived lunch time and lovely girl behind bar said would you like me to show you to your room now and handed us our key. We decided to have a drink and bar lunch for one and promptly gave us two plates to share. The New Years meal was absolutely lovely and I asked for... More

We've just returned from a 2 day stay at this superb pub, B&B & restaurant. Friendly, efficient staff and excellent food. As soon as we arrived at this lovely thatched pub we installed ourselves in front of the large open fire and were given free reign to pile on more wood. The food was excellent throughout and the breakfast was... More
