Stayed at this hotel for one night on the 11th December. We arrived very late in the evening but were able to check in without any difficulty. The gentleman on reception when we arrived was very helpful and friendly, as indeed were all of the staff that we met during our stay. The room was pleasant, the beds were very... More

A group of 18 of us decided to book a table for a friends birthday we ate on 27/11/14. I must say the waiters are very friendly and a really nice looking clean restaurant area unfortunately the worst bit was the food and since considering it is a restaurant that is not acceptable. My food was personally ok but was... More

Pleasant hotel, with good sized clean rooms. Good facilities. Comfortable beds. When we arrived our room was very cold. Turned the air-conditioning right up and it warmed up eventually. After that we found it very comfortable. Breakfast was extra but a worthy extra, taken in the bar area with a lovely view across the countryside. It was a shame that... More

Terrible. Not only did we wait an hour for our food when the restaurant was not even half full the food was disgusting. My sons pizza tasted like it had some pickle base on it. My brothers nachos had some "homemade" sour cream on it which tasted like lemon moose and the roasts where overcooked and lacked vegetables. We where.missing... More

Loved staying here with my partner, plenty of space and very friendly staff! The housekeepers even left us extra biscuits in the room, as we loved them so much. :-) It's near very close to the local town and also access public transport near by.

Booked myself and partner for three nights, easy booking, reasonable price and i expected something like a premier inn.. this is much better. The staff were friendly and helpful, if arriving on a Sunday the car park gets very busy but id advise booking yourself a table because this is a popular place. The hotel is linked but seperate to... I can’t say I was overly impressed by the County Arms. Check-in took a rather long time as the card machine wasn’t working properly. The room, decorated in shades of blue, felt quite cold and was indeed cold, as the air handling unit didn’t really do ‘warm’, even when on the highest setting. It was huge, though. Despite facing the... More

This is by far the best place I stayed in. I have stayed in nice hotels in lots of places but this one is a little gem. I stayed here last night. The room was huge, spotless, modern and oh so stylish! The bathroom was just amazing, walk in shower, modern, huge, can't fault it. The room had a great... More
