Booked a short break on back reading other reviews. Found the accomodation and food to be both first class. From checking in to leaving the staff were friendly and attentive. Room (3) was spacious and clean, although the air con switching on automatically through the 1st night was a bit annoying. Breakfasts were filling and tasty, and the service efficient.... More

Parking was a bit of a struggle. Some 4 x 4 cars had parked accross spaces, which was really annoying, but not the hotels fault! Check in was quick and easy - young man helped me to my room with my luggage. Room was lovely & clean. Restaraunt was fairly busy. Food was satisfactory - service was ok, but as... More

I booked a table via email for my mums 60th birthday after several attempts by telephone and was pleasantly surprised to be asked if we'd like some balloons at the table to which I said yes. However on arrival there weren't any which was disappointing. There was no point asking as the immediate surprise was lost for my mum. Service... More

This was our 2nd stay here, the 1st we had a road facing room, all I can say is bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, as the traffic outside doesn't stop all night. But saying that the room was fab. This time we had a back facing room over looking the fields with a little balcony. Again the... More

Thank you for your kind review, unfortunately we are located on a main road and certain rooms at the front means you can hear the road if busy, but I am pleased that your return visit was a quieter one. I will certainly pass your comments regarding the pillows onto the housekeeping team, we do have limited feather pillows onsite... More

Returned again this year on our Wedding anniversary and were fortunate to get an upgraded room at the back with a Juliet Balcony looking over the fields at the back ( I'm not sure what is happening behind but the building works seem to have stalled for over a year and it did not affect out stay) As ever the... My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel from the 15th to the 17th of August for a Birthday weekend. We chose to stay in Truro as it was central for all the areas we wished to travel to in Cornwall. The hotel is set on the main road with a beautiful view of the country side at the other... More

Really enjoyed our stay, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Kelly in particular was great and also the bar staff were busy, but very polite! The breakfast was excellent value for money and the real ale was just right for me! I would not hesitate to book here again! David

Excellent venue for family meal. Great service from Nicci, a really charming girl and an asset to the Hotel! The food was really great and if anything, maybe the portion sizes were a little too large!

Absolutely brilliant! Can't fault this place. Staff very friendly and the food it's great at all times of the day. Our superior room was lovely 😊 will definitely come back. (Only one small niggle, the back of the hotel could do with tidying up, where renovation work has taken place). We had a superior room and would definitely stay again.... More
