First visit to the Victoria Inn for lunch. The carvery was excellent with a choice of beef, turkey or pork plus a nut roast. Gluten free Yorkshire puddings were also available. There was a wide range of nicely cooked vegetables and traditionally cooked roast potatoes. Everything extremely tasty. Also a good selection of deserts. I could not fault any of... More

Booked a family room in advance then received an email stating that our room had been cancelled on the day we travelled, called the hotel and they reassured us that there was still a room. When we got there no one was able to log into their recently updated system so they couldn't tell us what room we were booked... More

Had lunch here (31st Oct). Baker Toms bap with carvery beef, chips and salad. Meat was jammed packed into bap which was good value. Only criticism was the chips tasted "fatty" but otherwise thought the food was plentiful. My friend has prawn sandwiches which again were plentiful and very nice. Pub was busy but it is a popular option for... More

we were a family party of 6 and lunch was excellent. The carvery had a great choice of meat and veg all was hot and fresh,, the rest of the menu was wide and varied. Everyone enjoyed their individual choices the service was excellent and at a reasonable price. We would recommend the victoria to anyone

Great breakfast and decent room but lacks warmth and friendliness of some of the other B&B's. It's basically a pub which happens to have a few rooms round the back. I think it's slightly pricey considering the location and service. The other downside is that it's not near Truro town. It took me about a 10 minute drive.

Had carvery lunch at The Victoria Inn today and am happy to report that despite not having been here for some time now that it is as excellent as ever. Despite being very busy we were served drinks as soon as we walked in the door and seated immediately. No sooner had we sat down than we were invited to... More

I only stayed one night on business but would stay again. The room was nicely furnished. The food served in the pub was good quality and reasonably priced. the staff were professional yet friendly. My only criticism would be that whilst the sheets and towels were spotless , the room was basically clean but would have benefitted from more attention... More

I stayed overnight on business. The room was small but modern and looked newly refurbished. Staff were all really friendly and helpful too. I had dinner in the pub downstairs which was lovely.....very generous portions!! Breakfast was great, again very generous portions, sets you up for the day that's for sure! Really happy with my stay overall, would go again.
