Had carvery lunch at The Victoria Inn today and am happy to report that despite not having been here for some time now that it is as excellent as ever. Despite being very busy we were served drinks as soon as we walked in the door and seated immediately. No sooner had we sat down than we were invited to... More

I only stayed one night on business but would stay again. The room was nicely furnished. The food served in the pub was good quality and reasonably priced. the staff were professional yet friendly. My only criticism would be that whilst the sheets and towels were spotless , the room was basically clean but would have benefitted from more attention... More

I stayed overnight on business. The room was small but modern and looked newly refurbished. Staff were all really friendly and helpful too. I had dinner in the pub downstairs which was lovely.....very generous portions!! Breakfast was great, again very generous portions, sets you up for the day that's for sure! Really happy with my stay overall, would go again.

Having eaten many times here at the Victoria, I feel they have changed for the worse. Food was costly and less quantity than was expected but would win an art comp. Food was cold and on commenting the response was. I will pass on your comments to the chef. The waitress never returned to offer desert or respond to the... More

We visited the Vic twice within a matter of weeks for evening meals and both times we weren't let down with the quality of the food and service. The only thing that I could grumble about on one occasion was that it was very hot, but the waitress did manage to get a window opened for us. I selected the... More

After a last minute decision to have lunch out we came across the Victoria Inn, what a great place it was. We didn't arrive till gone one on a Monday but the place was buzzing with customers. The service and the food was great, when in Truro we will definitely eat here again.

A business trip to Truro means a couple of nights at the Victoria Inn which is no bad thing. Food is wholesome and plentiful and the service enthusiastic. The accommodation is comfortable as well. A selection of ales and wines, while not extensive, is more than adequate. The staff are friendly and welcoming so coming here is always a pleasure.... More

My Daughter booked this Christmas meal for us, from the moment we entered there was a great atmosphere - we were met by cheerful staff, decorations galore, and a beautiful laid long table seating all 21 of us. The carvery was first class, a super selection ready to plate, also suiting vegetarians in the family, very well done. So thank... More

Merry Christmas to all the wonderful staff at THE VICTORIA. Your service and the food you serve are always absolutely first class. The carvery is the best in Cornwall particularly the beef and there is a very good selection of vegetables. Thank you.
