Most delightful accommodation in a private location with lots of beautiful hotspring pools lovingly crafted by an interesting American couple Bernie and Kathy and a really very large swimming pool too... We stayed in the Mariposa Cabina and it served our family well, including a galley kitchen and three beds, plus hot water shower and a nice patio overlooking the... More

: Brio Thermales Hot Springs was the highlight of our twenty seven day adventure in Costa Rica. We stayed one week in the treehouse, which we highly recommend. The tree house is very clean and lovely, the mattresses are very comfortable, it has a well appointed kitchen which was very useful for cooking our meals, the views from the tree... More

The treehouse was absolutely the most amazing place I've ever stayed! If TripAdvisor is not showing rates, check out their AirBNB page: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/50435 I stayed with my husband and two friends. It was plenty of room for all of us but it was open floorplan, so only go with people that you are very close with. :) The hot springs... More

We loved it and for all the lovely reasons others have already expressed. For us, it was a great base for our trips out to the nearby places we went - proyecto asis, Arenal hike, rainforest chocolate tour, and the iguana bridge. A soak was a wonderful way to start and end our days there. Kathy and Bernie are full... More

If you want to relax in a beautiful garden sanctuary while sitting in a soothing hot pool - this is the place to be! Try to go in the morning since you will have the pools almost to yourself. These hot springs are more of a secret so not a lot of tourist were there when we spent the day... More

We stayed at Bio Thermales for a month this February/March. Chose it due to the things we wanted to see and do on this, our fourth visit to Costa Rica. Bernie and Kathy and all the staff at the hotsprings treated us very well during our stay and we enjoyed coming back from our adventures each day to soak in... More

The Rainforest Tree House at BioThermales was wonderful! The property is as described, with terrific hot springs and private hiking trails. Kathy & Bernie were welcoming hosts who engaged in excellent communications prior to the trip as well as being quite accessible during our visit. Arriving in daylight is important if you are driving yourself, as indeed the property could... More

Kathleen Dyhr and Bernd Zabel built a beautiful compound of colorful separate "casitas" and a treehouse (featured in Fortune magazine's treehouses around the world), with hot (42 degrees centigrade) and cool (33 degrees) baths a short walk into the rainforest under a canopy of 500 year old trees occasionally visited by howler monkeys and crusty iguanas. The casitas are emblematic... More

We were a group of 5 friends and stayed at Casita Colibri- the 2 bedroom/1 bathroom that has 2 double beds and 1 single bed (would have loved to stay in the tree house if it were available or if we were a smaller group!!). The kitchen includes a fridge, small stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, and utensils/kitchen tools. We especially... More
