I recently staid up the road from the Hotel. So I cant comment on the accommodation or the main areas within the Hotel. This review is based on the Three Bridges Bar Area. However I decided to have a drink in the Three Bridges Bar. From the outside the structure of the Hotel has a real nice charm. In fact... More

Luckily we were staying in accomodation nearby and only stopped here to eat. Chef unhelpful and not prepared to accomodate our request for a late breakfast. Food was overcooked and tasteless. Dining area filthy. Witnessed a waitress drop a knife and fork on the floor then put them on the table to be used. The toilets were hideous. I've seen... More

Great location and stunning views and the food was ok but that's it. when we checked in we had to ask where are room was as they lady on reception just said that we were in room 4. they knew we had a dog but didn't bother to tell us where we could exercise him. The room was small and... More

We booked the hotel to attend our friends 25th wedding anniversary celebration at the hotel. We were warmly greeted and shown to our large spacious room with a four poster bed. The staff and owners were so obliging and the food was excellent . We'll certainly stay there again . I can't praise them enough

Stayed Saturday night and thought we had made a big mistake. Imposing building in fantastic location overlooking the waterfalls but rooms tired and in definite need of some investment for a makeover and initially thought £100 a night a bit steep. Having said that, the owner and staff were delightfully friendly and the food was very good and reasonably priced.... More

Originally built as a hunting lodge in the 1700’s, The Hafod Hotel (Named as per their own web site so I’m not sure why TA lists it as ‘The Hafod Arms Hotel’ as does the AA? – perhaps the hotel changed its name?) stands alongside the “Devil’s Bridge” at the head of the beautiful waterfalls. The Hotel overlooks the remarkable... More

Great room, great bathroom with a good shower, great breakfast, great dinner and extremely kind and cheerful manager; nothing was too much for him. This is what we love. The hotel is almost 200 years old and still has a lot of original elements.

Stayed in a double, front room on the 2nd floor for one night while on business. Amazing views out of the window down the valley and a newly done up bathroom with good toiletries, which made up for the room which was a bit bare and dated, but clean. The hotel is right on devils bridge and I would advise... More

This is a very charming place indeed! Nothing fancy going on but honest, pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is very close to the road but the cars seem to disappear during the late evening and night and the only thing you hear then is the river. The hotel has a bar and a tearoom so it is impossible to die... More
