I chose this hotel a base for three days walking on Offa's Dyke and it proved to be good choice. The room we had was big, comfortable and clean, looking out towards Welshpool. As the hotel was surrounded by farmland, it was incredibly quiet and we had three excellent nights of unbroken sleep. The breakfasts were excellent, with local ingredients.... More

We recently stayed at Edderton Hall for one night as we were visiting Powis Castle which is nearby. Unfortunately we were very dissapointed with our stay and feel that we must have been given the worst room in the house (room 5). The room was very basic and not particularly inviting, the cleaning of the bathroom could have benefitted from... More

Beautiful location with stunning views across the valley and Towards Powys Castle. A really warm welcome awaits you from this family owned and run hotel. This is a family home would suit someone looking for relaxing, less formal, country house weekend

My husband and I have just returned home from a three night break at Edderton Hall in Forden near Welshpool. I thought our room was particularly beautiful with two bay windows overlooking magnificent scenery and in the distance Powis Castle in Welshpool. The bed was so comfortable it was difficult to leave it in the mornings. The bedroom furniture was stand... More

I arrived exhausted at Edderton Hall in the late afternoon after a long day on the road. My room certainly had the wow factor, immaculately clean, lovely wooden floor, very spacious and the views from the windows were.... well... rather special, standing out quite clearly in the distance was Powis Castle all lit up pinkish in the early evening sunshine... This B&B is at the end of a long drive in the countryside, so very quiet. The views out of our first floor window went for miles, and included Powis Castle. There are 8 bedrooms and a big lounge for use of the guests, so it would suit a group holiday. I suspect we had the best bedroom in the... More

We stayed here for a night in room #4 a double. In a cool room, we supplemented the one blanket with two duvets (without covers) in the cupboard. The ensuite shower was almost unusable due low flow and poor temp control. The wifi advertised did not reach our room. The property, accessed over a long rutted muddy road was full... More

We were walking Offa's dyke path, when we stayed here. The owner took us to a pub and to the path the next morning. The room was very good. Breakfast as wll
