We stayed in the new lodge which was equally as good, if not better than the boutique hotels we usually choose to stay in. Kevin & Leah were very friendly (after our initial slightly frosty welcome!) We will definitely return at some point.

This b & b is right on a high part of the military road on Hadrians wall with the vallum immediately to the south. To the south lies an uninterrupted view of about 30-40 miles. with Hexham (and its awful chipboard plant belching out plumes of smoke) clearly visible but dwarfed by the immensity of landscape and sky. Leah made... More

From the moment you pull up in the car park and see the view across the moors and are then met at the door by such friendly owners as Leah & Kev, you know you are in for a good break. The room we stayed in, Chesters, was a wonderful large light room with a fantastic south facing view over... More

We asked ahead of our arrival about the wifi situation at Carraw Bed and Breakfast and were told that everything should be satisfactory. I should point out that we game a fire in our house back him one and our daughter had had a car accident, so wifi was essential. Download speeds of 01 megabits per sec download and .12... More

This bed and breakfast has the advantage of being right on the Hadrians wall, the downside is that there is not anywhere to eat that is local so you have to get a cab to the nearest place which ends up costing over £20 for a round trip. The property itself is very nice and clean and our room at... More

Leah was fabulous taking care of us. The house was very charming. The location was great for making our trips out to explore different portions of Hadrian's Wall. The breakfasts were delicious. You can walk across the road and through the farm out buildings, through a couple of gates and you are on the Hadrian's Wall path. We walked from... More

Carraw B&B is perfectly placed to explore Hadrians Wall and it would be impossible to find better accommodation! The room was spotless, modern and well equipped, the breakfast freshly prepared with a great choice of cooked options whilst the owners made us very welcome and provided complimentary afternoon tea & cakes. We will return!

We have just returned from a touring holiday of Scotland, and stayed at Carraw for one night on our journey home. It is a beautiful B&B, our room was large, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable, with stunning views. Leah and Martin are very friendly and the breakfast and supper were both delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely excellent. Fabulous rooms, spotlessly clean everywhere. Guests have use of a lounge area. Leah and Kevin really good hosts and our evening supper and breakfast were excellent. Well Done and keep up the good work.

Stayed here for one night before leaving early for work the next morning. Unfortunately we left too early for breakfast but the options sounded nice. We stayed in a newly built building which was finished to a very high standard. Lovely views over the hills. Not another building in sight. Only cows and wild rabbits for company. Bliss. The room...
