The room wasn't terribly large, but it managed to have little alcoves to jam our stuff in. It had a *lot* packed in, though! There was a 3-burner electric range top, a half-size fridge, micro, toaster, full-sized coffeemaker, pots/pans, dishes/silverware, wifi, and a little table for 2. Very reasonable price and there is a creek behind it. Quiet. We were... More

We stopped and got a room right away:-) Cash up front. Then we got to our room and there was no door on the bathroom..... Very old and tired hotel. We were in a single wide trailor modified to be two rental suites. No phone in the room and the two twin beds had bedspreads with holes. The good news... More

thanks for the feedback, I wish you had addressed your concerns directly with me, anyway, I do appreciate your impressions RE: Bathroom door - it never occurred to me that persons sharing a room would need a separate door to a room that isn't in line of sight with the remainder of the room - I have added a door... We enjoyed our stay, except for the front desk clerk. The website said it would be run by friendly staff, but it was pretty clear that it was just one aardvark standing on another aadrvark's shoulders, wearing a trenchcoat. Nice try, Kreekside Motel!

Thanks for sharing your impression; I wish I knew what your meaning is with words like "aardvark" so I might be able to do something about your concerns - that baffles me More

If you need a place to sleep in this area between Prince George & Quesnel, this is it. Easy to find right on Hwy 97. Don't expect quality for a $60 room. Old motel but no smell. They also run a small RV park right next to the motel, where you can find a coin laundry. Good for a short... More

We always stay overnight at the Kreekside Motel when we head up to Northern BC. Great half-way point between Vancouver and the Skeena Valley. Gene is a most helpful host and always fits us in. The rooms are clean, some have kitchens, and extremely reasonably priced. The beds are comfortable. I look forward to our nights spent here.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Kreekside recently. The motel was clean and beds comfortable. We had 2 queen beds with a kitchenette (2 burner stove, bar-sized fridge, sinnk, microwave) and a bathroom with a tub. In speaking to people in other rooms it seems like every room is different, with some better appointed than others. There is free... More

Don't let the outside deter you. This is an older, old fashioned single story motel but we found our rooms to be comfortable and clean, and the price was very fair. There were four of us (with two dogs) and we needed four beds. The friendly proprietor showed us rooms with a connecting door. The larger room had two double... More
