We stayed at Heasley House for two nights with our toddler. We were instantly impressed by the elegant but welcoming interiors, but the real bonus was Mandy's hospitality - nothing was too much trouble and she thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was beautifully furnished and very spacious, the bed was enormous and... More

Miles and Mandy Platt may just be the perfect hosts. They may have created an ideal haven on the edge of Exmoor. They might even have installed the most comfortable beds in living memory. What's certain is that staying at Heasley House is an absolute pleasure. Dinner was fantastic, breakfast equally good and the warmth of the welcome made our... More

Not normally moved to write travel reviews, but have just returned from a long weekend at Heasley House and it was perfect. Literally nothing I could fault. A wonderful welcome, beautiful room, great food, perfect extras (herbal tea in our room! and Ren toiletries!) and a blissfully quiet location. Mandy and Miles were fabulous hosts and our only regret was... More

We arrived at Heasley House on Thursday afternoon for a 4 night break. The outside of the house is beautiful and it only gets better when you go Inside. Mandy greeted us and we were made to feel at home immediately. We had opted to eat in every night and boy are we glad we did. We truly could not... More

Agree totally with the last reviews so wont repeat it as its all true! As you get out of the car in the little hamlet the peace and quiet hits you and you immediately feel at home as soon as you meet Miles and Mandy. More like the most up market B&B you could find with no stuffy hotel atmosphere... More

Heasley House is a wonderful gem tucked away in the English countryside. It oozes an understated luxury and everything is country chic from the decor to the way breakfast is served. We arrived to fresh, home-made lemon drizzle cake and tea and a cozy but spacious and elegant room. Miles and Mandy are wonderful, welcoming hosts and offered to organise... More

We have been staying at Heasley House for the last five years so slightly anxious we arrived this year wondering ... No need it was truly amazing Miles and Mandy made us so welcome as did Riley he was introduced to Mrs Tiggy Winkle. They have made improvements, it is even more delightful but has been achieved subtly with great... More

Having had two wonderful stays here with the previous hosts, I was a bit apprehensive after booking to find they had changed hands. I needn't have worried. Miles and Mandy were every bit as welcoming as Jan and Paul and the food was just as delicious. The only major change I noticed was there was a set menu for the... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful night at this charming hotel. We loved the relaxed but perfectly attentive service from Mandy and Miles, the owners. We felt welcomed and well looked after from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. Heasley House manages to balance classical, English elegance (think beautifully restored sash windows, farrow & ball walls,... More
