My wife and me I, we had the pleasure to enjoy that accomodation, the Landlady 's, Astley (don't call her ASHtley) ,😊 hospitality, her humor and everything else for - unfortunately only 2 nights - Even Astley's dogs and her girlfriend have been adorable. O+M

We have had an absolutely delightful stay - from the comfortable room, beautiful views, and delicious breakfasts to the fantastic hospitality of Astley and excellent advice on how to fill our days in Exmoor. On our first night, we were directed out to one of the surrounding fields to see the red deer grazing at twilight which was absolutely magical.... More

I stayed here while visiting local friends. The setting is idyllic, the rooms done to a high standard and the breakfast delicious. While I had some time to kill I even had a clay pigeon shooting lesson booked for me. Overall this is friendly and delightful B&B.

Although we were only at Tabor Hill for one night, we greatly enjoyed this peaceful B&B hideaway on Exmoor. From our clean, well-equipped room to a chatty breakfast in the welcoming farmhouse kitchen, we can whole-heartedly recommend this property and Astley's skills as a hostess. She was very helpful in booking us a dinner reservation and was knowledgeable about the... More

We stayed for two nights and wished we could stay longer. Astley is the perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble. From the first welcome, with delicious home made cakes and tea, to the moment you leave, she takes great care of you. The house in the most idyllic spot; you drive down a long track across the moor (no... More

We've just returned from another glorious weekend at THF. This time it was a girls' weekend that included 6 dogs and started with afternoon 'tea' on arrival - think fresh egg sandwiches and the most amazing cakes, cookies and scones (courtesy of the 17 chickens!) with proper pots of tea. The weather couldn't have been better which meant we were... More

A return visit for me to Tabor bringing some new family guests; 3 of whom were keen to ride locally. Astley's hospitality was as memorable as ever, excellent riding was organised for us on two mornings using stables just 2 miles away. There was easy access to Exmoor and some happy riders! Our hostess booked us in to a local... More

We came to Tabor Hill Farm by pure chance, having had it recommended by another Exmoor B&B that was booked up. What luck! It's a very comfortable, recently refurbished farmhouse in a lovely location. Our room (Barcombe) was spacious with two very comfortable armchairs by the window so we could sit and admire the view out over Exmoor, and an... More
