2 of us stayed here on a business trip, we arrived an hour early a we had to start work shortly after, the girl checking us in was obviously not happy with this even though our room was ready. Basic room with mould. When we mentioned that we would have to be up at 6am and would not be able... More

I rarely write reviews, but I do read them. This establishment is way above the norm. I do one nighters all over the country for work and The Belfry Hotel accommodation is second to none. Clean, very comfy and the motel style rooms are away from the pub frontage so nice and quiet. The bed was really comfy and the... More

This is a pleasant looking hotels and bar restaurant. There is a lunch time £5 menu with steak fish gammon etc on and a larger regular menu as well. Those in our party who had the regular menu meals were very happy with them (fish was massive) the steak pie on the £5 menu was also good. Unfortunately my breaded... More

We visited on a very busy evening, but managed to find a table without too much trouble. The main course was very good and dessert delicious. Pretty average prices including drinks, so well worth another visit.

Quite possibly the smallest room I have every stayed in and there was somehow a double and single bed in the room. The bathrooms were just big enough for a shower tray, corner sink and toilet...just! We were a group of eight guys travelling to watch our local team play Cinderford and the rooms didn't really matter (the beer was... More

Stayed for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. Stayed in Room 7, a bit shabby, the door had paint peeling off it and blinds a bit bent and twisted. Bed comfortable enough and bathroom adequate. Breakfast OK.

This hotel is good value for the single traveller at £35 but I wasn't very happy with my experience this time.I was put in room 5 which is on the ground floor and you can hear the constant low hum of the large extractor fan next door and you are very close to road and noise from people falling out...
