A very good stopping point on way to the vendee, accommodation is good and restaurant is excellent. Free secure car parking and a very quiet location meant a good nights sleep and a welcome breakfast at a sensible time, all at a very reasonable price. Rooms were large enough to have a double and a proper single bed.

Excellent hotel for a stopover. Very friendly staff, clean warm room, nice restaurant, good food and wine. Breakfast very average and hence overpriced, that's my only complaint. Would definitely stay again. Well positioned when travelling north or south.

We had 4 rooms before we found one with all working equipment. Shutter, Lights, TV remote. Then in that one by the morning the TV power went off and the kettle leaked. However the main course in the restaurant was one of the best I have had in a Camponile

A great stop over at the weekend on our way down to Spain. It was very welcoming, and quiet, though as this was a Saturday night, not sure how quiet it would be mid-week when lorries can move, but heard no road noise at all. In an industrial area, but for our purpose was just off the route so ideal.

Arrived around 1800 hours. Young man on reception very pleasant. First asked what time the restaurant was opening only to be told there was no chef so restaurant was not opening for normal service. On going to our room we had no kettle. There was no plug in bathroom sink. On going to bed around 2200 hours we found that... More

This hotel was what we were expecting for the money. Room was clean, bed comfy, and tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome, including biscuits! That was breakfast sorted. We did not feel that the hotel breakfast was worth the cost for us as we only want coffee and maybe toast, so we had Room Only. We did decide... More

Only stayed here instead of the one by the Expo Pak as arrived here by mistake one night and the staff were very helpful with directions. As others have said rooms are now dated and "tired" and in need of the upgrade and it is a very noisy location from early morning being so close to a main road with... More

Booked well in advance for three adults, three beds, but everything else supplied was for two.Very noisy, take earplugs. We were asked to leave lounge/tv room early evening, along with several other guests (?),when we were all enjoying a chat.Found out the next day, they needed the room for a slimming club, why they didn`t get it ready the next morning god only knows.Poor breakfast... We booked two rooms. We tried to check in at 1600 but but rooms had there doors open and had not been cleaned. One looked like it had hosted a party the night before and had empty wine bottles and smelt like a dirty pub. We returned again at 1900 by which time the rooms had been cleaned. The hotel... More

Given that when we booked this hotel we had to supply the age of our children, on arrival at the hotel we were absolutely horrified to have been allocated a first floor room. All the rooms have a communal balcony and despite two adults watching my two year old ( who could at any time climbed over what I can... More
