The hotel itself is relatively good. Room are clean. Gardens are attractive for kids. But the main concern is the location. Too far from the city center. If you have a car it is worth considering staying this hotel. more

A convenient stop off for the channel ports, bit tricky to find. The quality and comfort that I normally expect of a member of the Novhotel chain, famility oriented, but don't expect character. more

Stayed here in August 2005 when travelling west to Dinan. Beautiful hotel and lovely garden, but I think I was treated a little childishly with the Dolfi but otherwise, a good overnight stay more

This hotel was intended as a “stop-over” to break our onward journey south to the Loire Valley. Having stayed in the centre of Rouen previously, it was desirable to be on the outskirts of the city for our journey the following morning. The hotel was relatively easy to locate and had a large car park with security gates. The foyer... more

We stopped for one night in the Novotel Rouen, mainly based on facilties available for children (Play area/swimming pool). Novotel Rouen didn't disappoint. The communal areas are well maintained, although the pool is cold. Rooms are standard Novotel, but easily sleep 4! In addition, the location of the hotel is fabulous, it's basically on the edge of a forest, away... more

if you need a hotel to stop off at en route to the south west of France with kids, this is a good bet. The hotel is well located near the main autoroute but in a suprisingly secluded location. A dated building hides a refreshed lobby with bar and reception area with internet access and a small kids area with... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night between visiting Paris and Normandy, after spending an afternoon in Rouen. The room was a typical Novotel and was very nice. The only thing that keeps this hotel from getting a 5 is that they have locked their AC unit. We stayed at 5 Novotels over a 7 day period and all... more

We used this hotel as a stopover on a trip to the south of France. Booked via the website but when we arrived we were told there was no record of our reservation and no rooms free - not a great start after 6 hours in the car with the kids. I managed to dig out the booking reference and... more

Nice location- leafy with a pleasant childrens play area under pine tree's. We had two youngish children travelling with us and booked a family room which was as good as we could have expected for the price (which was cheap- approx £50 for a family of 4 sharing a room) clean and comfortable. The food was basic and pricy -... more

This hotel seems to be a very popular stopover for Brits travelling back from the South of France to Calais, we were quite surprised when we parked our car! (note: we are a French family living in London, with a GB car). So we were not the only ones with brilliant ideas ;-) Originally booked this hotel because it has... more
