What a horrible place. No en suite. Communal toilets and showers dirty and inconveniently situated. Whole place dirty and smelly. Frightening people throughout. Very noisy all night. 'Bed' is a 10cm mat on an mdf box frame. No linen for bunk beds. One towel per room of three people. And it took us 45mins to find the place in the... More

A tired F1 with the flavour of a run down cheap US Motel with the ambience to match. The hotel is on litter strewn uncared for land with a high security fence that has holes cut in it. The stench of cigarettes and stale sweat in the place was quite overwhelming and backed up by cigarette burns on the room... More

This is a typical Formule 1, no frills. Actually it probably warrants 3.5 stars for value; the price was excellent. Online booking all fine, no issues with the room. WiFi worked well, which is a bonus. I've stayed here several times before so know how to get there, its easy to miss the turnoff from the Avenue des Canadiens if... More

We have stayed here before so booked again. The hotel is quite easy to find if you travel slowly down the road. You get what you pay for. A budget hotel, we have stayed in so many Formule1 hotels and they do vary. Free wifi but I think it's about time they got some air con as the rooms are... More

We stayed here on a run down to La Palmyre a couple of weeks ago. Booked online in advance and the five of us stayed for less than £40. Found it okay with the satnav reference provided on the HotelF1 website. Rooms are standard F1 stuff and were modern and clean. Couldn't fault the value. Sorrounding area has two or... More

HotelF1 is a great concept, but the price is just too high to be considered budget. I arrived around 10pm after driving around the city looking for the location (never would have found if not for sat-nav). The front car park gate was closed at this hour. The pedestrian gate was also locked, so I had to ring the front... More

We followed the address info given on the F1 website. 2 separate addresses - both wrong! Spent a lot of time therefore driving about getting nowhere. However, once you find it this is a standard F1 hotel. Rooms have been renovated, they are clean and comfy. The shared facilities could do with a bit of TLC but were clean if... More

You're heading south for France/Spain and it's heading towards 8:00pm. All you want is a bed and somewhere to eat and then an early start the next day. So you pay 32 euros and get a decent room - good cheap cafe across the road and problem solved. But you don't get your own toilet /shower and that means sharing... More

We chose this hotel because it was cheap and conveniently placed for a stopover on our journey from Northern England to mid-France. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the man on reception to appear although he should have been on hand. He was unfriendly and not apologetic when he finally appeared. Room clean and bed reasonably comfortable, parking... More

What you would expect from a F1 hotel, this one has been recently updated. The room was very hot the night we stayed. Paid for breakfast, certainly was not worth the money.
