If you need wifi at your own room, then Aguado hotel is not your choice. They only have wifi access at the reception on ground floor and breakfast room on first floor. We paid 128 euros for a seaview room per night. We thought with this price, we should have wifi access at our room without having to down to... More

We stayed at Hotel Aguado for 3 nights. The hotel is very convenient for all the main attractions in Dieppe meaning you can park up, forget about the car and take short walks to the quay, restaurants, seafront, shops and market. The hotel itself is clean and has all the facilities needed for a comfortable long weekend break. The hospitality... More

I arrived at the Hotel at 2300 hrs at night utterly exhausted, having taken part aboard "The Kirsty" in the cross channel yacht race .."The Dieppe Dash" I was fortunate in that there was a very clean and comfortable twin room available and I subsequently spent My three day stay with the Hotel as my base. I enjoyed my stay... More

We spent a lovely relaxing weekend in this family run hotel. The room was clean with a beautiful view of the sea front and the sea.We slept well as the bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

When I travel, I realize that the hotel is mostly a place to lay my head at night. This hotel had a fine bed and a fabulous view of the water. The elevator was old and a "one at a time" ride. In my room the tv remote didn't work, the phone didn't work when calling room to room and... More

A smooth channel crossing but still with a long drive to Burgundy ahead we decided to stop over in Dieppe. The day before our departure we chose the Hotel Aguado. The two reasons for choosing this particular hotel was its apparent close proximity to the shopping and restaurant centre of the town and the directness of the route between it... More

Had a superior room on 5th floor with sea view. Room a good size and clean. Plumbing a bit old fashioned but worked well and a supplementary electric heater was available. Friendly staff with good English on reception and small lift available. Parking at 15.00hrs not easy but by 18.30 was able to move the motor closer to hotel. Well... More

Before arriving at the hotel I communicated with the staff via email and facebook regarding transportation. I received prompt and helpful replies. The hotel is located near to the promenade in Dieppe and a short walk from the town centre. The interior is very well maintained with a lift serving the different floors of the premises. The reception staff were... More

Just returned from Dieppe after staying in the Hotel Aquado for 2 nights. Location was perfect, only 2 minute walk to many of the restaurants on the Quay side and the main shopping street, Grand Rue. Staff were very helpful, especially Jed on the night shift. Would totally recommend this hotel. Well worth the money.

This is a hotel with a superb, welcoming atmosphere. It's not the most modern of hotels; there is no air conditioning, so you have to leave the windows open and the seagulls can be noisy, but we didn't see this as a major problem. The bathroom was a little cramped, but otherwise fine, and there was plenty of hot water.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Refined, independent… A MustHotel Aguado is an emblem of Dieppe. It was built by the architect, Georges Feray, in 1955. He was the recipient of the Grand Prix de Rome for architecture. The same family has been receiving guests in this establishment for three generations and has understood how to maintain its authenticity, off the beaten track of chain hotels. Hotel Aguado is in an exceptional geographic location, with its arch separating the city from the sea, facing the beach, and just seconds from the port and the pedestrian city centre. All this offers you great comfort in a charming setting during your touristic or business trips. The bar has an intimate atmosphere and is reserved for the hotels clients. Wi-Fi is free.
