We camped, on our first car-camping trip in France (and first time driving there, from UK thru Eurotunnel), at Le Ranolien. It is a bit tricky to find- the directions and Google Maps guide you through the tortuous, inconsistently signposted streets of Perros Guirec rather than the better route (which we found later) from coming up the D788 via D11... This campsite is brilliant for families. It is very clean and not too spread out with plenty to do. The pools were lovely and the onsite facilities were great. It was very peaceful in the evening by the cabins although I wouldn't have liked to stay closer to the centre due to the noise from the entertainment in the bar.... More

This is a modern site with a fantastic indoor and outdoor pool area including slides. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. There is a small market shop and a small newsagents. Also a very good creperie and a very good restaurant. There are loads of activities for children of all ages and a good variety of entertainment... More

We stayed in Le Ranolien, North Brittany for a week in mid-June. I never realised how far out of the way it was( 4 hours from Caen). We had warned the on-site Eurocamp staff that we would be a tad late, and what a welcome we received when we got there. The young lady gave us a big hug and... More

Spent 10 days here in early June with our two little girls ( aged 3 and 1) and had a fab break! We stayed in the 4 person Premium accommodation (lodge type) booked directly with Yelloh! and was well worth the extra cost. Really nice modern accommodation - living space in the centre of the unit and bedrooms on each... More

We had a week here with the sun holiday promotion over the Easter week. What a wonderful site. As many others have said, it is very clean. The facilities are excellent. 2 pools one in and one out. The outdoor one has a flume and a big slide, great for all ages. There's a newsagent, supermarket, creperie, pizza place, take... More

We visited Le Ranolien in Aug 2013 for one week for a family holiday. The chalet was really nice, much nicer than I expected and completely immaculate. The best part of the holiday by far however was the pools, which me and my son spent most of the week in - really good fun although the outside pools were a... More

The best we have stayed on for a Sun £9.50 holiday. Great location for walking and lovely towns surrounding. Brilliant area for kids and dogs. We went out of season but it was clear there would be loads to do for families especially in season.

Fantastic campsite in a stunning location, and I can't add much more detail to what others have said. The only point I would like to make is that we booked through Canvas and specifically chose this site because it said No Dogs on their website (having had a previous bad experience elsewhere in France with young children and dog mess...
