We pre-booked the hotel and the rate we were charged well in advance was higher than the walk in rate advertisied in reception- which seems an odd thing. When we checked in we asked if breakfast was included in the rate. When we checked out it had been added as an additional amount and we were then told it wasn't... More

A very anodyne place. Can not speak about spa, I can only speak about the hotel as I have always been there during work trips. The rooms are small and quality of furniture below average. Wardrobes have very annoying metal doors providing a very few confortable feeling. It's the only hotel I've ever been where the lights of corridors switch... More

We decided to stay at Caliceo as an overnight stop as we drove from UK to Spain. It was ok. Hotel reception was reasonably friendly and car park worth booking. The place is a little past its best ... might have been smart 25 years ago, but is showing its age and is in a bit of a time warp.... More

Used this hotel as part of a one night stopover. Thank goodness as I would never stay here on holiday. Easy check in and pleasant enough but that is where it ends. Had a family suite which was cramped and tired plus the kids bed was a sofa bed that had to be made up by us. The hotel and... More

In one of France's foremost Spa towns, Caliceo offers a lot. The dining room lacks character but the food is good, service friendly and prices reasonable. Also a good centre for touring the local region.

We got a great deal for a late booking and spent just a couple of days walking and enjoying the Spa. Service was as expected for a 3* in France, all staff were helpful, bed was comfortable and Wi-fi was free! There were well sign-posted walks around the lake and into the forest. A good map was provided by Reception.

I stayed 2 nights at that hotel. I arrived at 5pm, my room wasn't ready. I asked if they could show they were sorry about it (free drink, free entrance at the pool, which is 16 euros per 2 hours). They said no... !? It says it all about their willingness to accomodate their guests. The rooms are noisy, you... More

We had a suite for 120E, in high season in France (early August). It´s just an average hotel, with no surprizes in any sense. Highlights: - Water. You can drink it from the tap, tastes better then any botteled water I´ve tried - Thermas (only till 12.15h am) - Localization - very quiet and just next to a nice lake... More

This review is for the SPA and customer service SPA & HOTEL My wife, sister and law and I had an appointment for a massage at their facility given to us as a gift by my in laws. All three of us were very disappointed with our massage treatment. Not to sound pompous but we've traveled around the world utilizing... More

i was travelling from northern france to southern spain. so this was only a convenient stop over. The hotel was quite dated but clean and ok for a one or two night stay. I was suprised to find that residents had to pay so much to use the advertised hotel facilities.I think the selling point for the hotel is very misleading... More
