My wife and I spent an excellent night at le Chalet Lyrique. Quiet and clean with comfortable twin beds, the hotel is a very good value for the price (75.50 Euros.) Our triple room was on the far side of the hotel building where you need to climb some steps here and there. There is no elevator in the hotel so heavy lugguge is not advised. I stayed there in the end of july and really liked the hotel. the only regret i had was that you have to carefully select your timing if you need information or anything since the reception is only really opened in the morning. This is one of my wife's favourite hotels, though it is perhaps more like a restuarant with rooms than a normal hotel. Not in the centre of Bordeaux, so a car is necessary.
