Just returned from a superb 2 night break in the company of very welcoming hosts. Wonderful location and James and Stuart made us feel so at home we felt reluctant to leave! Immaculately clean, delicious evening meal and plentiful breakfasts. We loved our evenings in front of the roaring log fire. Very helpful local knowledge of the area provided without... More

We booked a mid week break at Brynarth and stayed in the main farmhouse. The drive as you get near Brynarth travels down increasingly narrow roads but this is all part of the experience. We arrived later than expected but Stuart and James were very accommodating. The breakfasts are excellent with local produce being used and cooked to perfection. We... More

My partner and I stayed in one of the farmhouse rooms and adored our time there. Not only is the surrounding countryside amazing and the local towns well worth a visit, but the guesthouse itself is by far and away the nicest place either of us had stayed at. Stuart and James couldn't do enough to be helpful and their... More

When I asked Stuart and James if they could organise a programme of events for our annual ladies weekend away, their response was - "no problem, leave it to us". The result - an action packed couple of days - visits to local beaches, beauty spots and restaurants. We were collected from the railway station and taken everywhere by mini-bus... More

What a little gem is Brynarth Guest House just near Lledrod only 20 mins or so from Aberystwyth. Don't be put off by the narrow Welsh lanes as you weave your way to the house - it's all part of the adventure and the trip is well worth it when you arrive in such a beautiful oasis. Run by Stuart... More

This was the first of several return visits we have planned to Brynarth in the coming months, on the pretence of dropping in to see our daughter who is studying at the University in Aberystwyth. We enjoyed the usual warm welcome from James and Stuart, aided and abetted by the new member of their team, Brian the Spoodle, who is... More

From booking to departure everything was great here. The location, although a bit off the beaten track is well signposted from major routes, and was easy to find in daylight. Plenty of beautiful countryside and walks nearby My room was perfect, the breakfast was excellent and even the range of beer on offer was perfectly adequate. I didn't have an... More

Stuart and James delivered all their website promised, and more. Idyllic location, clean and comfortable rooms and delicious home cooked food (both breakfast and an evening meal). We took their advice about "things to do"... lots of helpful suggestions and information about how to get the most out of our stay. Brynarth is in a truly rural location, but not... More

The single track twisty roads add to the excitement of travelling to Brynarth and on arrival walking through the picket gate and down the stone steps, the tranquility and beauty of the setting is immediatly apparent. I only stayed for two nights just as a quick getaway for some rest and relaxation. Having been shown to my lovely comfortable room,... More

This was a lovely B&B. I was so impressed by the finer details and the great care they take maintaining the rooms and property. I have to mention that the sheets were beautiful and the towels were lush. This may sound like something small, but it shows how much effort that they take to ensure their guests completely enjoy their... More
