White Lady B&B was on our way from Swakopmund to Etosha. Found place from internet. Nice and comfortable room. Nice area and friendly service. Need to say WL is cost effective place to stay. Will come back!

Having been travelling for about 5 hours with various illness problems we arrived at Uis and chose The White Lady. 28 or us in 4 vans just turned up, we're made welcome and we set up camp. The spar market is near by and you can replenish supplies. This is not a smart camp site, it is totally functional and... More

The town of Uis is in decline. A one donkey town. The mine has closed and the only real attraction is the nearby "White lady : Bushman Paintings. It is not too far from Twyfelfontein. The B&B Thatched Chalets are basic and clean but showing age. They are small town country style. The rooms are airconditioned with needed Mosquito nets... More

We stayed at the White Lady B&B for one night as a large family group. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderfully prepared dinner – ordered beforehand – and a great breakfast. The pool was great for cooling off and the setting is neat and restful. Rooms were great, clean and cool with air-conditioning.

I assume the main reason for travelers to stay in Uis is to visit the interesting petroglyphs of Twyfelfontein and to see the surrounding areas, with a host of other attractions: organ pipes, burnt mountain, and petrified forest, to name the more well-known ones. We enjoyed our stay at the White Lady B+B because it was exactly as advertised, that... More

Something of an oasis in this dusty little town. We got a warm welcome and were the only guests the night we stayed in one of the thatch-roofed rooms. It was large, clean and simple with en-suite shower, fridge and air-con. White Lady is actually quite a big set-up with camping as well as B&B and is attractively laid out.... More

we spent one night on the white lady campground on our Namibia tour - it's a very beautiful spot reasonably close to the white lady painting. the site is spacious and was almost empty when we were there. the sanitary facilities are more on the ok end - a light is clearly missing in the bathrooms. the warm water in... Analene is a great hostess and phoned to find us when we did not arrive late afternoon. After a great breakfast she showed us around and told us about the history of Uis and more....such a darling! The rooms are neat and there is a bath and freezer in every room. Well kept and tidy. I would recommend this b&b... More

Uis was once a thriving mining town, but since the mine is closed, it is bleeding dry. Lifeless, resignation, depressing, lethargy, are the words that come to mind when I think back. Same atmosphere at the White Lady BB. The reception was abandoned. We had to look for someone who could tell us where to go. After a while we... More

We spent one night at the White Lady B&B and stayed in teh cabins. Our rooms were a considerable distance from the main lodge but the night time walk back to our cabins was fun using a torch for light. The resort facilities were very nice the landscaping amazing for being in a desert, and the red rocks behind the... More
