Excellent village pub, Sunday dinner outstanding served from 12.00 until 6.30 we called in at 4.00 and could not believe what a lovely pub it was, we were led to the very impressive restaurant, Sunday dinner outstanding. Staff really good considering how busy they were, reasonably priced drinks & food. Highly recommend.

After a lengthy refurb I was eager to see the results and try out the food. We arrived at 5.30pm (very early) and found the place a little chilly but we sat by the fire and soon warmed up. We both chose lamb shank which was absolutely delicious. The star of the show being red cabbage - wonderful. The staff... More

We booked here for a meal with family & friends after recommendations from other friends and we were not disappointed!! The food was excellent & great value for money and on the plus side the drinks aren't expensive either! The service was great, nice welcoming friendly staff. After our meal we sat in front of a warm cosy log fire,... More

Went to the Wheatsheaf for a meal on a chilly winter's day and found such a great welcome there! We were a group of six adults and a three-year-old child and had booked, so our table was all ready for us. We found the menu had plenty of choice and the food was good quality, good value and came quickly.... More

We arrived here for a meal last Saturday evening There was about another five people in the pub We ordered some drinks and the service was very poor and very slow. The coke had gone and we waited 15 minutes for it to be changed and a fresh coke poured, I actually had to remind them that we still had... More

Had Sunday lunch at the Wheatsheaf, £13.95 for two courses, which was plentiful with potatoes and 3 portions of vegetables. Also good value meal for 2 toddlers. The only downside was it was cold and draughty. Service was fast and efficient. Definitely recommended. Da iawn.

The Wheatsheaf Inn is one of the best places we have eaten. The Owners took over the property in Oct 2013 and re-opened in July 2014. The welcome when we walked through the door was warm and lighthearted. We were offered our choice of tables either in the bar or up a few steps to the restaurant area. We chose... More

I stayed here for 3 nights earlier in January. Had a great stay, staff and management were very friendly..I understood they have taken over recently so keep up the good work. Great food and nice atmosphere. Really recommend it to anyone visiting this area of Wales.
